God I love that scene with Gus. Just no words needed. And then him saying "well, get back to work." Straight chills!

Shit just got real real quick.

Gus probably killed Victor because he was seen by people at the crime scene. If the police are able to track him down, they could potentially discover Gus's business. At this point, that is a bigger threat to Gus than Walt and Jesse.

Even Mike was shocked at a monstrous act like that, fucking breathtaking acting and what a great scene. Amazing episode.

A couple theories as to why Gus killed Victor: 1- He was seen at Gale's apartment. 2- Sending a message to Walt and Jesse. 3- Stepping out of line by cooking without permission.

I thought it was this too. That’s why Mike gave him that look when he said he was seen.

What a crazy way to start the season hu?

This isn't my personal number 1 show ever but this episode is my favorite season premier of all time. Definitely season finale quality. It's such a fucked up situation. Gus could definitely have handled the dealer situation better and made sure those guys just left that kid alone from now on. Walt definitely didn't want it to go this way but they left him with little choice. Without doing it him amd Jesse would 100% be dead. It is what it is and here we are now. Poor Gale was just caught in the crossfire. From the moment Gus walked in until he left is one of my favorite moments in this show. I just always wonder how differently things would have went if Walt just told Jesse to fuck off from the beginning and told Gus what he was trying to do and then just worked with Gale. Who knows. You are 100% right with the chef analogy. Just about anyone can learn to make basic meth but it takes talent to make a truly good product. Walt is the very top of that talent and irreplaceable. Sure Gale could have came pretty close but it would never have been quite as good as what Walt can produce. This season is so good. 🔥

Yea I think it was a combination of thise things plus I think he blames him for allowing all this to happen. I'm sure he blames Mike in part as well but Mike is to talented to get rid of. He needs him.

i never understood people who thinks Walt was at fault for this one. He did what he had to do to survive.
