Almost everything in this show is better than the mandalorian

Fun fact: the music in the sanctuary is a remixed version of the cantina band song from a new hope

Bad Batch had some faults: losing some steam in the middle, a heavy reliance on cameos, some two dimensional characters …but it was unquestionably beautiful to look at, with breathtaking production. The voice acting was good, the cameos were all enoyable, and we got a direction at the end of the season. Book of Boba Fett just raises alot of questions, starting at the top. The show we were promised was Boba Fett, fan loved badass, triumphantly taking a new role as crime boss. That is not the show we got. The scripts are light, the production is…wonky. The show takes a hard turn just past midpoint in a different direction. Overall, this show just does not feel well made. The limited budget is evident. The writing is subpar, like they changed their mind or stopped paying attention early on. There is a lack of cohesiveness and energy throughout. One of the episodes is an absolute delight. Another might be even better but also extremely oddly placed, which dampens some of the enjoyment in retrospect. The final episode is a Michael Bay movie. In the end, I’m not sure what the point of the series was and i’m left wanting. Episode 1 is emblematic - where Mando Ep 1 ended on an absolute bang after a very entertaining ride, BOBF e1 feels like a pulled punch. I was asking…wait, thats it? It was an omen. There is DEFINITELY good stuff to enjoy (ep 2 was fun) but BOBF and Kenobi, despite the name value, were low points of Disney Plus Star Wars to me. Then came Andor which made BOBF and Kenobi look like amateur hour

A lot of people didn’t like this show but I enjoyed it for what it was and the ending is great! Can’t wait to see your reactions

He was in the sarlak for 2 hours. Boba's helmet has air deposits canisters that have a limited air supply. Just as Sabine had when she went out into space to attack the Empire ships back in rebels. That's why he borrowed the stormtrooper's air.... Wait wouldn't there be no air for the trooper? Or did he just die before the air ran out? Sorry just questioning things

Bad batch is great TBOBF is alright but kenobi is bad I won’t spoil it obviously but I have a feeling you are gonna feel the same way a lot of us do

I believe there's only one possible reference to the six armed sand creature Eckartsladder dug into that thing. Also it's mentioned in the kenobi novel which will have no spoilers to the actual show btw so it's safe to read https://youtu.be/qhr15y7h9wE

This show gets a lot of flak. Personally, I think the storyline with the Tuskans is one of the strongest aspects of the show. The main storyline is a mixed bag.

Rafael Barba

Fennec didn't beat Cad Bane... She had to retreat after getting her ass kicked by a very old Cad Bane.

The beast that Boba fell into in episode 6 is called the Sarlacc. The Scavengers are called Jawas. The pigs are called Gamorreans.

Primate, The Haters got it wrong again with this series. Just like all the other Star Wars tv shows….. once again you are in for a treat. And remember when I said that about The Mandalorian you were very entertained

Kevin Sharbaugh

The boar brothers came through! And that creature they fought at the end reminds me of the Kraken from the classic "Clash of the Titans" from 1981.

To be perfectly honest I prefer the book to the show kenobi. They're two completely different stories like night and day. where one holds imo Obiwan's true perspective after all the horrible heartbreaking things Anakin did in ROTS. Man had me by the heart and lungs at one point as he broke down. I've read and listened to it 5 times now both owning the book and audio book on audible. Haven't gotten bored once. Can't say the same for the show I'm no nay sayer. I try my best to like the show I watch. I just dive deeper into more lore to make sense of things so I don't miss something or if they break their own cannon for nothing

Kevin B

Kenobi is good, Boba Fett is good, Andor is fantastic. I'm glad you dont pay much attention to the nay sayers. You seem to disagree with them most of the time as I do.

Lars

You should look up the age of the Fennec actress it will amaze you like it did me lol

Jacob Plourde

Honestly my biggest problem with this show is that they didn’t have a proper story to tell. They clearly didn’t have enough content to fill an entire tv season and this feels like something they were forced to make, rather than chose to make from a creative standpoint. This show wasn’t able to stand on its own at all.

The sand behemoth is new, fans took to calling it "sand gorro". Also have seen the bacta tank he heals in called the "flashbacta tank", he will spend a fair amount of time in there giving us those flashbacks. The hate for this is too strong, I think it is more consistent than Kenobi (which has some higher highs than this but also lower lows).

Jack Sharpe

Boba's droid in this show is played by Matt Berry, known for his role in the IT Crowd. Following on from Richard Aoyade being in The Mandalorian.

Thomas Edwards

i am late to this but Trandoshans (Bossk's species) hunt wookiees

People give this show a bad rep, but personally I don’t mind. I think it’s season one and just getting established, it will for sure ramp up and be great in later seasons. Not to mention, there are many things in these few episodes I cannot wait to see you react to.

Kenny Lam

Glad you enjoyed it! Personally this show is on the lower end of my rankings, but I did appreciate it more watching it through your reaction
