This is one of my favorite episodes. I loved how in the flashbacks we saw how the Tuskin Raiders taught Boba Fett how to fight, and how he became a member of their tribe. You are correct. He was wearing his Tuskin Raiders robes that he received at the end of this episode when we first saw him in Mando season 2. And in the present day scenes, we got to see some more of the Hutts. And Black Krrsantan, the Wookie, is a well-known character from the Star Wars comics.

That symbol was the Hutt alphabet btw. It's KK and well I don't know why they are writing Kathleen Kennedy's initials on that building but whatever. BK or Black Krrsantan worked with Boba before in the Vader comics

The Tusken warrior who is training Boba is actually a woman of their tribe. The Wookie is no joke he has quite the reputation especially in the comics. This isn’t a spoiler but Black Krrsantan has a scar above his eye (that you can barely see) that Obi Wan gave him. It happened in the comics.

This was probably my favorite episode of the show. Little setup of current day, info on the sand people, boba becoming one of them, etc. Great stuff, but it kinda lost me after this.

It's great watching these newer shows with you bc everything after Mando season 2 this is only my 2nd time watching it. The stuff with him escaping the pit and going with the Tuscans does happen right after ROTJ. The current time is just after Mando season 2. I love seeing all the sand people stuff. It really gives us a great look at who Boba really is as a person.

This espisode in particular highly reminds me of the novel Kenobi, from 2013 - I really recommend the audiobook of that if you can find time for it.
