Just…sadness🥲

can’t wait to watch this one

Jacob Plourde

The Jedi code is thousands of years old. The newest iteration is probably one thousand ish years old. It likely hadn’t been changed much since the fall of the Old Republic and the end of the last Jedi-Sith war (ending with the sith creating the rule of two and going into hiding). Both took place about a thousand years prior to the movies. Those were for the most part, the last large scale Galactic-wide conflicts prior to the Clone Wars. So yeah I’d say the code could have probably used some updating.

The Planet from episode 3, Raxus, would one day become the Separatist capital planet. We saw it in Clone Wars and Bad Batch.

TOTJ is amazing. I hope they come out with more seasons. I’ve been loving watching your Star Wars journey. As someone who grew up with the OT, it’s been a lot of fun seeing you fall in love with this world.

https://youtu.be/-jVpsTyxxwI In ledgens Yaddle sacrificed herself to save a young Anakin and planet from a bomb that would have killed millions. Anakin blamed himself for her death. However Looooong before her joining the council as a master her master was killed and she was imprisoned and tortured. Through the force she managed to escape and free the people who were slaves themselves, and killing their corrupt leaders. With peace restored she returned to the jedi order as a master on the council

The jedi council were Ignorant and arrogant to underestimate Sith would have returned... If the took this seriously they would have sent more Jedi and Qui-gon didn't have to die... But one thing I agree... MACE WINDU is a dick 😐

The one below "Yaddle" may you find peace in the force

It's so nice hearing both Liam Neeson and Ian McDiarmid in this.

I was more hyped for the Ahsoka episodes when this show was announced but the Dooku ones, especially the last one, were so much better than I expected. I always liked Dooku but I like him so much more after seeing this show

Landon Meyer

When we say things give us chills. Man this gave me chills. Crazy to learn officially that Dooku was working with Sidious this early, and that he knew about Maul. Maul really was always a step behind, and was going to be replaced even if he didn't "die".

Mace's strict adherence to the Jedi Code and following the rules likely has a great deal to do with the major anger issues he struggled with as a youngling. The discipline and focus provided by "going by the book" could be the only thing that kept him from becoming a very dangerous Sith (another possible "what if": it was a Sith-turned Mace facing off against Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in Episode I). Mace could very well have had training to fall back on the Code when he felt his anger rising telling himself "Remember the Code, remember your training", similar to the scripture "If it should happen that a prompting from Satan stirs thee up to blind anger, seek refuge with God (41:36)"

Mace, to quote one fine dude, has always been one big Motherfuck*

David Norcross III

The Jedi Code and the way you describe how it needed modification and restructuring because of changing times. And how it was probably good for when it was made but not so much as the world changes…..It reminds me of the US constitution Amendments.
