I've been looking forward to this reaction. 😊 This is one of my favorite episodes. I liked how we got to catch up with Mando up until when he met up with Fennec at the end of the episode. Fun Fact #1: The route that Mando took to test run his new ship was the same route that Anakin took during the podrace in "The Phantom Menace". Fun Fact #2: One of the X-Wing pilots that pulls Mando over in space was the actor/body double for Luke in the season 2 finale episode of "The Mandalorian". The next episode is another one of the best ones.

Love this one. I don't get why people have an issue with this. Great episode. You said it, they had to set him up before bringing him in. It's all connected anyway. Yes, that was the canyon Anakin pod raced through and Luke also says in episode 4 how he used to target womp rats in beggars canyon and how they weren't much bigger than the port he had to fire into on the death star to blow it up. Can't wait till the next one.

Not sure if you recognized the model, but the N-1 starfighters, AKA Naboo starfighters, are what the Naboo Royal Navy used against the Trade Federation in The Phantom Menace - so the same thing little Anakin was flying. Also, I don't think it's confirmed, but there's definitely speculation that they might have fitted podracer parts into it when they were working on it, and some of the sound effects they use when he's flying it are actually the same as during the podrace scene. Another thing - I personally liked the similarities with Din training with the Darksaber and Sabine training with it with Kanan. They also mention in Rebels that Tarre Vizsla built the Darksaber and was the first and only Mandalorian to join the Jedi Order. When he died, his lightsaber was left with the Jedi at the temple, but Mandalorians raided it at some point and stole it (if I recall correctly).
