This is probably one of the worst episodes of live action SW imo. Luckily the next 2 episodes are much better. I’ve never understood why they decided to dedicate 2 entire episodes of a 6 episode show to saving Leia from 2 different planets

The ships from this episode are the same kind of speeders we saw tying up walkers on Hoth! In ESB there's dialogue in the Rebel base where they say they're "having trouble adapting them to the cold" (so Han takes a tauntaun to go search for Luke instead) - well, here's two unmodified models.

Evidence that Third Sister let them escape is that the TIEs (that were seen in their hanger earlier) were never scrambled to deal with the two little speeders that attacked the fortress. I'll be honest, it didn't occur to me until just a little while ago... I was wondering, earlier, "*Why* would they let two dinky little speeders get away with an attack on Fortress Inquisitorious?". Then it hit... she gave orders to muzzle the air/orbital defenses. This also ties in with A New Hope. "They're tracking us," Leia tells Han after fleeing the Death Star, "It's the only explanation for the ease of our escape." This would explain why she came to that conclusion... she'd seen the tactic before.

Not necessarily... the only other people present at that time were Vader and the Fourth Sister and Fifth Brother. Reva was in a position to pass on such orders without any of them being informed at the time... it's the Empire, you do as you're told.
