Bo said that she lost everyone she was leading when she didn't come back with the dark saber. If you remember in Rebels, at the beginning of season 4, she rallied multiple houses. My theory is that Thrawn is back and either brought those mandalorians into his war machine or just hired them out. He had a few dealings with them during the Empire days. Could we possibly see Wayland (Mount Tantiss)?

Or it could be a jailbreak and Frame job by Thrawn. Imperials have a surplus of beskar from the raid . If it was Sabine I can’t see her killing new republic soldiers since she was a rebel hero

I thought it was obvious it was Zeb. In my opinion the live action look was spot on. Only thing is I wish he had his honor guard Bo Rifle strapped lol

Nice episode. Cool to see Zeb again. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the Ahsoka series since Sabine and Ezra will be in that. Glad the Mandos are organizing.

I didn't realize it was Zeb at first (I didn't figure he'd be someplace that obscure) until I caught his name in the multilingual credits and checked the official credits, then checked the actor names. His live action likeness was already up on Zeb's entry on Wookidpedia when I watched this last night. And I have a feeling whoever sprung Moff Gideon planted the beskar (I mean, really, what Mandalorian is going to help him?) in order to incite conflict between the Mandalorians and the New Republic.
