funnylilgalreacts

Probably the most unforgettable episode of the entire series

Lucas Chantler

Hank’s last words are so chilling. “You’re the smartest guy I’ve ever met, but you’re too stupid to see…” what an episode

Everardo Marquez

Walt admitted to those things on the phone on purpose to save Skyler.

Napoleon

Yeah walt knew the police were listening like you said jr called the police and he took the red van at the end to start a new life to protect skylar and jr.

Walter White

the greatest episode in television history

G A

Walt did it to help Skylar, he was visibly upset at having said those things; compared to "I watched Jane die" with a stone face because he meant that shit. Outstanding episode of television.

Alexis Castillo Lopez

The phone call was on purpose to give Skylar a way out of everything or at least try to

Captain Rex

Did you notice Walt’s old pants from episode 1 in the desert while he was rolling a barrel? Really cool Easter egg!

Nick Huber

This is the highest rated episode of any show ever on imdb

The 906

going into this ep for the first time... i wanted to have HOPE that gomie n hank were gonna make it out SOMEHOW. But once it opened and saw that they killed gomie LITERALLY OFF SCREEN, i knew we were fucked.

Ozymandias is just incredible. With everything that happens though, it’s the opening which is most sobering to watch for me. The fading out of the past and fading in of the present, just an impeccable representation of how far Walt has fallen, how far he’s come from simply being a desperate family man looking to reclaim some control over his life and leave something for his loved ones. Absolutely incredible television.

Lionsfan313

There’s a show in Mexico where they legit ripped off every scene of breaking bad and it’s so awful it’s hilarious you should react to this scene from that show you’ll be dying 😂😂😂

Nick Huber

Also fun fact Rian Johnson the guy who directed the last Jedi and knives out directed this episode.

Louis Augeri

I’ve always interpreted the dog at the end not as rabid, but as a stray. Walt is that dog. Without a home, without a family, on his own.

Batamus

Bro I literally had to take a nap because I couldn’t wait two hours since your teaser post lol the fire still doesn’t end here!

EZ

Next episode is so hype, the ending gives me goosebumps everytime

Bobby Reyes

2 more to go! What a journey it has been.

Cole Troutman

Yeahh man, this episode is wild. The next episode has always been my favorite, the ending is perfect (whole thing is tho)

Fun fact, the opening scene with Walt and Jesse was the last scene of the series to be shot. Rian Johnson even came back and directed the scene months after the rest of this episode was filmed, so Vince Gilligan and the other writers/ producers could just enjoy the day. I can't think of a better way for the cast/ crew to wrap the series.

Yess... Cuban B

Watching this never gets any easier, even when knowing what's coming.

Walt is way too smart to be fooled be a simple "no the police aren't here" Especially when he saw Junior call them already. All of what he said was to relieve Skyler and his family of any guilt, which is why he also took the blame for Hanks death to make it seem like hes a crazy evil person who will kill anybody (obv this is partially true but not to the levels of like Gus or Jack) and potentially also relieve Jesse of guilt as well when he says "I built this ME, me alone." But idk.

Benaiah

I think Walt was always a prideful person capable of evil. We really don’t know much about his past but we can assume that he built up a huge ego while he was in his formative years. I think he viewed himself as a man who was dealt a shit hand in life, but was able to build a multi billion dollar company and become a genius chemist. So when his life had become mundane and not what he thought it would be, he felt like he was gonna live the rest of his days as a mild mannered family man. And then out of seemingly no where, LUNG CANCER. He has no time now. “I am awake” Walt says to Jesse in the first episode of the show. Poetic beauty.
