All of the Forrest Whitaker and Stellan Skarsgaard scenes are magical. Two good actors with a tight script, just let them cook It really shows how tragically underserved the prequels were by Lucas’ writing. We had such brilliant acting talent: Sam Jackson, Ewan, Portman, the same Genevieve O’Reilly killing it as Mon Mothma here! They were all given nothing to work with; imagine if Lucas let a team remotely as good as what we get on Andor put in some effort. He could have elevated Star Wars above just campy one-liners. Sadly, “it’s for kids” was used as an excuse for bad scripts. Just look at the difference it makes when you give a shit I think of Luther’s ship as a James Bond car: it’s got all the goodies, fake ID’s, chaff launchers, guns, and these sustained laser emitters. The closest e got was some of he stuff on clone wars LAATS and tanks, but given that we know Luthen collects stuff and takes prep seriously, we shouldn’t be surprised he can handle business

This episode has the best space battle in Star Wars in years. So quick but so damn good. This show is just so awesome with everything it does.

Man that show is just sooo good! It totally flew under my radar back then and i watched it actually like 6 months after it finished, but MAN! It's crazy that this show is so not popular and talked about with how loads of trashier new Star Wars that's out there. Andor stands out in quality so much! The end scene with Melchi on the beach, the music..."what, if it's just us?" after that crazy arc....man

Its so important marva dies in this exact moment, taking the last thing that hold cassian back the single thing that keeps him from fully committing himself to the couse to the rebellion. Also Syril has nothing left to lose he needs to redeem himself to wash his name, he thinks to bring andor to justice its the wy the empire, his mother and dedra will respekt him. Dedra sees finding andor and axis is her stepping point to everything she ecer dreamed to accomplish if she fails, i guess she will never get the same chance again. Luthen, cinta and Val have now understand that the empire arend that far away from them if they find andor their whole life would be ruined. All these Characters are so real so understandable no sw series not even clone wars had accomplished that. That every side Character has a reason to exist and that their individual acts all influence the course of our story. A story that will gind ths Climax in the final episode

It’s probably worth mentioning, since you mentioned how much you like him, that the actor who plays Saw, Forest Whitaker, is highly accomplished on stage and screen, as well as behind the camera. He’s even taken an Oscar for Best Actor, among many, many other awards and nominations. You’re right, of course…this was an awesome episode. You’re almost through both this and Daredevil season 3. (Sigh) I’m looking forward to your work on both, but not without some regret at them being over. Nice job today, as always.
