It seems like two shows this week made you choke up so far, First Andor and now Daredevil. Both are great shows, and I really hope daredevil reborn will still be good.

It got cancelled because Disney bought Marvel and Netflix had to cease.

This show is canon to the MCU. People still think its up for debate but its not. As for the timeline this season takes place in 2018 (before Infinity War when Thanos snaps) and both Matt and Fisk’s next appearances are in 2024 (1 year after Endgame). With Matt in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Fisk in Hawkeye. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law takes place in 2025 and is Matt’s most recent appearance. The episode that features him in She-Hulk is a little goofy but the Daredevil stuff is great. If you aren’t interested in She-Hulk but wanna see more Daredevil i’d watch just that episode (Ep. 8) in your own time tbh. Its mostly self contained. As for Netflix’s Daredevil tho, fantastic show front to back.

Disney had already owned Marvel at this point, but with the launching of Disney+ they wanted all of their best titles on one platform instead of competing with ABC Television and Netflix. So they made a deal, all the shows were ended, and then Disney had to wait a few years before using the characters again.
