You wanna go to jail or you wanna go home ?

"It's not what you know, it's what you can prove " is one of my all time favorite quotes.

Ngl, Denzel's character reminds me of the cops I used to have to interact with when I was a teenager. Thing is, I didn't know they were abusing their power until way after the fact, when I was well into adulthood. Back then I was just like, "I guess this is just how things are", and I'd basically shrug my shoulders. I would never bring these things up to my family because I thought I was in the wrong, and they'd be mad at me when in reality they would've raised hell at our local precinct. But yeah, Denzel did such an amazing job in this role that it always triggers those memories for me.

I am about to blow your mind even more with this movie when it comes to casting. The guy that plays Tuco Salamanca in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul is the crazy guy with his shirt off at the poker game! It's just him when he was younger. Now go back and watch that scene he literally plays Tuco before Breaking Bad was a thing. The more you know ;)

That was snoop dog btw🤙🏾

Hey seen you reacted to some Jake Gyllenhaal movies recently and wanted to tell you to check out "End of Watch" since this movie reminds me of it a tiny bit. It's a great movie imo one of Jake's best

TJ Maccc

I forgot Tuco was in this for a bit lol

Did you catch “Roger” was Stick from Daredevil? 👀

Wait. If you’ve never seen Ethan Hawke that young, that must mean you’ve never seen Dead Poets Society. You need to see Dead Poets Society. It’s a cultural touchstone you’ll want in the books.

Since your watching the Conjuring series, a great Ethan Hawke movie u should check out after is Sinister. Movie is legit scary. Don’t bother with the sequel its garbage lol.

Cat Harington

Have you seen American Gangster? If not, that movie is easily top 10 best movies in any genre. Definitely a recommendation 👍👍👍
