Treasury Tuesday - Pelt of the Beast (Patreon)

The idea for this one came to me quite suddenly and it was one that I was happy to do because it has been a bit since I've made some magic armor. Now, per my reading of the polymorph battle form effect, potency runes from your armor don't normally apply. It verbatim says 'If you take on a battle form with a polymorph spell, the special statistics can be adjusted only by circumstance bonuses, status bonuses, and penalties.' Potency runes provide an item bonus so despite the it elsewhere saying that you receive constant effects provided by your gear, this would not. At least from my understanding. I debated having this be usable more than once per day but I was looking at how the level of items should work and it both worked out best being once per day and I think the sorts that can make the most of it are going to be druids with an untamed form focus spell and barbarians who can Animal Rage on a whim.

Have a terrific Tuesday!
