Hello good morning, sorry for this sudden post since last month I have had a big problem with Patreon, you see before I had no problem when charging each month, as you know before the subscriptions were monthly but apparently since last month I have had the problem that it is no longer like that and I do not know why it no longer has that option every month someone who has more experience with Patreon could explain to me better what happened?

I think it's not a problem at all for you. It's just that now someone starts his support the 9th, he'll pay the 9th of each month. And that's it.

I believe that Patreon has made it so you can no longer set your new Patreons to pay at the 1st of each month. They force it now so that people only pay on the day they joined of each month.

Like you, I also don't particularly like the change. More than likely, they got tired of people complaining to them that they joined a Patreon late in the month then got charged the beginning of the next. It's a change which is definitely nicer for Patrons but for the creators, it really sucks.

Because every month they charged the patrons, so I had a good amount every month and who stayed or not depended on that, but since now they charge them the same day they subscribed, it is no longer the same, that is why I am earning less money at the beginning of the month. In short, it was more convenient for me to receive everything together each month than through subscription.

OK I understand why you want all the money the same day. Why don't you write in your presentation : If you want to subscribe please subscribe the 1st of the monte. And ask to everyone to unsuscribe now and subscribe the 1st of september. 😁
