Hello! This is perhaps one of my favourite roleplays to date. Although some things were challenging (I wasn't sure how to approach some of the rather harsh sounds like cutting glass or sawing wood), I learnt a lot and, all in all, it's one of the most interesting videos I've worked on.It was originally 1 hour 20 minutes long and I would have liked to have made it a little shorter than 45 minutes, but I think there was just too much I wanted to fit in 😁I hope you enjoy!Have a wonderful night 🤗

Thank you! But, yes, filming the video twice (at least for the personal attention parts) would be too much work, that would require another whole day of filming + 2 days of editing and I'd rather use that time to work on another project :)

Diane this was brilliant! I can see why it was your new favorite. First of all the costume is beautiful and your hair looks stunning! And honestly, I was fascinated by every aspect of this process! Of course, your hand work and unintelligible whispers add so much dimension to your role-play. But I so wanted to see the finished product lol. The gold leaf work was probably my absolute favorite part. That was just so interesting.! I’m glad you learned so much from this, and that you brought us all along with you! Love love, loved it!

Thanks Marge! I went a bit too far with my hair but I'm glad you like it :-D And yes, gold leaf gilding was such a fun discovery, I wish I had the time to make it a hobby!

Simply perfect! (Would not have minded the longer cut haha!) I was surprised how lovely each sound was that could have easily been harsh. Just so masterfully done. It stirred fond memories of working with gold leaf in my art history class once. So hard to handle, and you did it brilliantly! And each step made me appreciate my framed art as well. Merci!!

The thing is with your videos Diane is you can take what appear harsh sounds and make them tingly. The glass cutting would normally be a harsh and grating sound but with the atmosphere you create you transform those sounds into pure tingles. Btw I liked your hair. Beautiful xx.
