Hello !

Here is the video I've been working on these last weeks. It was a whole new challenge for me, since I didn't record the sound when filming (the fire was too loud), so every sound of the video is dubbed. This was recorded in my parent's house (the stone fireplace was built by my father about 15 years ago, so not really an old one !), I hope you'll like it 😃I've added english subtitles if you'd like to understand what the french letters are about... (don't hesitate to let me know if you see any mistake !)The video will be released on the channel tomorrow.

Have a nice week-end !

Awesome D! Can't wait to watch!

Wow, the dubbing is seamless. First this gave me head-tingles, then it gave me full-body goosebumps. Diane, your work is a gift!

Simply Rachael Studios

If you hadn't mentioned this was dubbed, I never would have known. Wonderful work as always!

Marc Schmitt 3D-vice

Indeed, this is yet another professional piece of art-work and the dubbing is perfect. And yet, it tingles!

Rachel Dikovics

Wonderful work, I hope this is the first of a series! I want to know what will happen next! 😃

Fran

Beautiful color, sound, details, letter contents. I see the laces for the dress are now black - good change. At first I didn't realize that subtitles were possible, but I was still enjoying it even so, and got a good idea of what was going on. Then I rewatched with subtitles and got the details of the story:) Maybe her cousin will bring some money to help pay her debts? And her friend will turn out not to have died after all? (I always go for happy endings.)

This is *dubbed*?! Absolument incroyable! Et, merci pour les sous-titres!

Jessie K

Absolutely exquisite. And INCREDIBLE work on the audio; if you hadn’t said anything, I never wouldn’t have noticed the dubbing. I can only imagine how much work that was!

Emily M

Like everyone else is saying, the dubbing is phenomenal! This whole video is. Thank you, Diane :)

Fran

Also, the names in the letters were beautiful. And the reading she was doing of Tristan and Iseult was a beautiful touch. Was it the Joseph Bedier version? There was something about the voice that made it seem to me as if the speaker was facing the video, rather than speaking from within the video. This may just be my imagination, or if the recording was done facing the screen, it may be an effect of the acoustics(?)

moonlightcottageASMR

Yes it is the Bedier version :) The fact that it was dubbed certainly affects the realism since I could not reproduce the accoustic of the original room, which is quite spacious with stone walls. If I had recorded directly when filming, there would have been more reverb.

Julie

Vraiment impressionnant ! (désolée pour le commentaire très en retard !!)
