There was the challenge : finding a way to support a 22 lbs (10 kg) stone window in my set. This was a lot of work for an ok-ish result, I’m not sure I’d do this again, even if I like the idea of having a solid panel to use on my sets from time to time. But these « stone » wallpapers were really awful, I need to find an alternative. Anyway I could put that gorgeous window into my set and that was the goal !

I also share the process of aging the tarot cards. Tarot decks are always laminated these days and that couldn’t fit the historical theme, so after many tests I finally used tissue paper (and a bit of olive oil) to give them a more authentic look. I was quite happy with that !

Have a wonderful week :)

I came SO CLOSE to ordering that tarot deck until I found out that it only looked that way in your video because you did extensive tissue paper surgery on the cards. You made everything look amazing.

This was so fun to watch! I was so curious about the window! I understand the frustration with the stone-like paper but the result was absolutely amazing! Thank you for your hard work!

Since I’m hoping this will be an occasional returning RP, having already made the partial wall, it’ll be there for you. 😉🤞🏻👏🏻 What about the wallpaper did you dislike? Because the results look pretty awesome. Very clever transformation of the cards, taking their modern appearance away! I really enjoy your “behind the scenes” videos, letting us see a small part of your thinking/ analyzing/ creative processes.

The fortune teller video is magnificent and probably my all time favorite of yours so far. It is so difficult to choose, though, because all of your work is superb. <3

I thought at first the stone window was being put up as a window for your studio. I think it would look really wonderful that way. The background music went very well with this.

Thanks, but unfortunately there would be no room to put that window in my studio. But my husband and I are thinking of a spot for it :)
