Hi!Today I need your help 😁As you know I'm working on the Christmas roleplay, a cooking session in the 17th century, and I'm curious: what would you find the most relaxing? Just cooking in front of you, showing you techniques & tips, or would you like something more immersive, like coming close to you to help you with gestures for example?Let me know your thoughts about it 😊Thank you!

I'd love to have it in an old school cooking show style like in that movie Julia& Juliet! No personal attention or coming close. 🫶🏻

Morganna

I slightly prefer the second I think, so voted that. But both will be nice probably.

Anna Toresdotter

With personal attention my attention i definitely sharpened.

Janine Spendlove

I voted no personal attention, but the truth is I'm fine with either. The general ambiance of your films are always relaxing to me no matter what you do. I appreciate you!

Erin

I find personal attention a bit more tingly so voted for that, but your videos are always amazing so I really don’t mind either way!

Rhiannon Hutchinson

Honestly, personal attention usually creeps me out....and it's hard to suspend reality enough to overlook that a camera, wig, and microphones are basically being pampered rather than me. So I prefer just cooking.

I voted "with personal attention" because lately, that helps me relax and feel pampered at the same time, and I believe your kind of personal attention is always very well thought out, cinematic and natural. But both options will be equally brilliant!

Just cooking would be perfect 💛

Patricia Hennigan

Usually when you're teaching someone to cook, there's no personal attention, it's more focused on food and technique, watching how the "student" is doing with chopping or whatever, but not really in the eyes, so that might be weird. But you always put a lot of thought into your videos so I'm sure you'll do a great job whatever way you go. I just hope you always include unintelligible whispers!

Scott Farley

I voted personal attention but whatever you want to do will be fine, I am sure.

TeaNTea

In general I looove your personal attention-style videos, but I'm not sure it would fit with this theme very well.

Clarisse Thomas

You always do the personal attention so wonderfully, but I just had the thought that the personal attention should be gentle, rather than overly authoritative or corrective (otherwise I’ll start to feel self-conscious about my cooking 😅). But yes, I’d love to feel included in the process and feel part of a homely vibe 🥰

Fran

I think when food and cooking is involved it wouldn't mix with personal attention. I'd like to see the ingredients gathered, with explanations about what each thing was and what it contributed, the preparation, and the cooking itself. Then maybe setting the table, lighting candles, and taking the first taste, maybe also a toast to everyone and good times to come.

Have you seen the American frontier cooking videos at https://youtube.com/@EarlyAmerican?si=o9rEeE9HOz_szUyx I like the way they do them and Justine always seems to be enjoying herself in her little cabin. Of course, your talking and tingly little ways always add so much to your videos, I’m sure your instincts are excellent and it will be very good, as usual. We are having Thanksgiving here in the USA this week, so Happy Thanksgiving, Diane, and God Bless. ♥️

Jenny

Historical Cooking demo, already looking forward to it.

Tricky! My gut feeling tells me that cooking and personal attention do not fit together well. However, since the personal attention acpects of your previous videos are very soothing, it would be an interesting experiment including these, but not too much. I'm thinking, for example, of the chef who shows how to use a kitchen knife correctly and then guides the trainee's hand, or something similar. Because of this, I have voted for including personal attention.

Melissa Moore

As long as it's soft spoken, I don't care.

Samantha O'Connell

When I think of personal attention with cooking, I think of cooking with someone I love and that person gently helping me unwrap things or reaching over to stir something while I'm away from the stove, picking an onion peel from my hair 🙂, that kind of thing. I'm sure you would make it natural and lovely. Like cooking with a close friend or relative.

There will be a few unintelligible whispers yes :) Thank you for your thoughts!

moonlightcottageASMR

Ahah sorry, I'm afraid this character will be a bit bossy/grumpy! ;) But still caring!

moonlightcottageASMR

Thank you, yes this channel was very helpful indeed, and it inspired me a lot when I was doing some research! :)

moonlightcottageASMR

Thanks Marc, yes, that's exactly the kind of personal attention I had in mind!
