I still have yet to hear anyone talking about cops going to Israel to "train". Feel like that was thrown around quite a bit in 2020-2022, especially regarding ATL's Cop City. 🤔

Musings on baby voice with Brace Belden aka B Yiddy

sono

jewish hatred and pronouns

Simon Maraya

Nearly two hours!? 💗🫡🙏

leftist bimbo

ucla alum here, helped out in the encampment and wanted to point out, the zionist attack def culminated on wednesday but their attempts at agitation (trying to break in to the encampment, blasting music and screams 24/7 etc) was near constant from the start. student organizers never lost sight of their demands, protected each other, & centered the genocide in gaza throughout it all - never been more proud to be an alum

Zachary New

I wonder if we'll ever get an episode on Drake

Kamran Husain

i took a class with Orleck she is a wonder teacher and i fucking hate the Irish bitch who is the schools president

Tea for the Tillerman

Netanyahu just today called the Holocaust “5,000 October 7ths” not a joke.

Marissa Cote

love when I see that ep length at 1:30+

Alex

Liberals co-opted and diffused BLM. They haven't been able to do that here so that's why you see this mask off moment from liberals.

LPO Crane Jefferson

Eric Adams called me an ✨ outside agitator ✨ 👄 💅

glenn mohre

Ayo brace post that duck liver recipe sounds dope where you buying duck livers?

Peanut Horse

42:55 lmao draymond gonna be at a counter protest here soon

Reece Coren

brodie

Greymouse Studios

shout out to the students at my alma mater, sweet sweet SUNY New Paltz, getting hit with felonies for protesting against the genocide

brandon styer

Wednesday night-despite the fact that it was guarded on all sides by armored cops- the zionist stage was completely empty. Clearly, either this is a reflection of their lack of support on campus, or their disinterest in counter protesting the encampment in a peaceful way.

Liam Farley

Super common anti NYPD chant so people know about it for sure

Maxwell

Is the NYPD using Taurus as their service pistols?

Peanut Horse

The gargoyle spin, only deployed when cornered with no where else to go….

Drop request: when Columbia comes up YC drop in "The fiiine columbian" from Hey Ninteen by Steely Dan

I absolutely wept at the description of Mr Dropped-Charges fingers

Keanu

CHARGES DROPPED!! There was no case! The woman recanted.

ploob

Cool. I figured it was sort of media black out/counter intelligence type scenario.

Demented Avenger

TrueAnon has posted. And we wouldn't want it any other way.

Demented Avenger

Wait, is this his real picture? He looks almost as much like a penis as Brian Stelter does.

bruce

Never thought I would hear one of my professors talked about on trueanon. Yes, prof orleck is basically a platonic ideal Grandma but that also is a super cool feminist scholar. Though she is not head of the jwst department she is Jewish. What was done to her, basically for the crime of pointing at a cop (at the most decidedly non-threatening protest in America probably) was fucking hideous.

Manic Exposure

I feel like when i was at UW madison they made little and very selective reference to campus activism of the 60s/70s. I think the campus bombing really tempered how that stuff is brought up.

Rhys Davis

Have either of you read the New Catechism debates? You might be interested in it. It really began when scholars began to discuss the Holocaust in context of the genocide against the Herero. https://newfascismsyllabus.com/category/opinions/the-catechism-debate/ I think you’ll find it relevant to today’s conversation. It really freaks me out to think of American politicians tackling this issue.

Nico

Starting strong with some classic antisemitic riffs from Racial Jake.

Brian Ward

Brace was very neurodivergent this episode

Hundred Flowers

Does anyone have a link to the Atlantic article they went through from 1966 about UC Berkeley?

Onion Billy

Ross glick looks like a thin gourmand

Blank

Yeah the poster misdemeanor law is blatantly unconstitutional content and viewpoint discrimination under the first amendment. Rather than criminalizing tearing down posters in general they’re specifically criminalizing tearing down posters regarding a particular political subject (content discrimination), and more specifically, expressing a particular viewpoint about that subject I.e. support for Israeli or Israeli crime victims (viewpoint discrimination)

Ash

I thought the Glock 19 was standard for NYPD

Kevin

I'm so grateful for the way you guys don't concede a single inch to the floods of bullshit that have been unleashed around these events. Thanks for your moral clarity, it helps keep me sane!

Kevin

(Also, Yung Chomsky saying "I've got a juicy tip for you" caused me to briefly lose consciousness)

FarmerNed

I was a kid in Iowa City, IA during the Vietnam War. Sit-ins, marches, deomonstrations, and protests were common at the University of Iowa for years, especially during and after 1968. These activities spilled into downtown, as the campus sits adjacent to it. My parents took my siblings and me to witness and participate. For a town of around 50K people at the time, it was raucous for rural America. Today's activities are much the same. Keep fighting the good fight TA!

Axel H.

I appreciate it too. Even some more sympathetic people I know are conceding things like “well some Jewish students feel unsafe” or whatever, and it’s very disappointing. Everyone in my family thinks these students are antisemitic, every lib I know supports the police crackdowns; it’s fucking bleak out there. So TrueAnon (and the listeners) is necessary to maintain my sanity amidst all this absolute BS that it feels like practically every American is falling for.

Blank

Brace casually drops that he’s 35, I assume a soft launch of Belden 2024

Kelson

Fuckin banger. Remember how the NYT accused protesters at the 1999 WTO meeting in Seattle of throwing molotov cocktails? It was false and NYT admitted that but the average American thinks of molotov cocktails and violence from the protesters when they think of that event. The NYPD chief, or one of em its getting hard to differentiate, showed a "history of terrorism" book found at one of the encampment and claimed it was a training manual on national TV. It's an academic Harvard book on terrorism. But now half kf America thinks there was a terrorist training manual at one of the protest encampments.

Kelson

Sorry that was long. But the media can falsely report something. Quietly retract that false report but the damage is done and it is in the public conscious. This shit is nefarious.

Alexandria

Thank you for sharing 😊

Colin Helpio

A couple seasons ago Orleck got a 10-day contract with the Charlotte Hornets and Draymond famously beat the shit out of her.

Aiden

How did they get Sandler to do that intro?!

sadie

Selene wya

Marcus

Saying "she dropped the charges" without claiming to be innocent is really funny because you are kind of saying "I'm guilty, and haven't faced any consequences".

Shiv

my friend did medic support and y’all did an incredible job holding the line & taking care of each other when shit got wild 🐻

Shiv

YC —can we get a clip of Liz saying, “Come on…someone here finish me off” for science/feminism

Ok there was an incident of protestor violence at psu but the guy was swinging first and his wife didn’t need her phone anyways

Pearl Grembops

Brace’s whiny Zionist voice is *chefs kiss*

Jed Levin

ROTC = “I’m at robot camp!” LOL

Maxwell

It’s a joke… about guns firing without someone pulling the trigger.

Hana

How so?

malfeasance

Petition for Willy Rag to lead off the next episode

Selene

comrade pooks 😛

CK

Amazing work with these eps but I wish you would have a higher ed expert on to support your arguments! Endowments, donors, university presidents’ decisionmaking processes + the dick sucking of the defense/military research behemoth is so much worse if you’ve delved deep or work in academia. Jacob Bacharach as a War Nerd guest was excellent - would love to hear y’all talk with him

Robert

Loved the episode! I'm not sure if you're tuned into this Kendrick Lamar-Drake beef, but there is an undiscussed angle I think would be interesting to explore for an episode regarding Drake's pedophilia allegations. There have been several Hollywood blind items relating to a UK rapper named Dutchavelli that Drake has been connected to being involved with pedophilia, sex trafficking, and even beastiality (there is unfortunately a video) in the UK and Dubai. Dutchavelli was also connected to Diddy and Diddy was the one to introduce Dutchavelli to sheiks in the UAE. These same blind items accurately predicted the pedophilia angle that Kendrick would diss Drake from before Kendrick's first diss track came out. It sounds insane, but I think it's worth a look.

Harry

great ep, loved liz's bit about the media response to historical protests.

Hot Rod

Not enough people talk about the Boston Tea Party as an illegal violent protest with significant property damage.

Doc Adna

Kudos to Brace for standing up for harrassed women.

Hello,

Holy shit, you nailed it.

Leona McGann

whatever whatever i do what i want 😡😡😡😡

Wishing a happy birthday to a fellow VE Day baby. Hope it's a good one, Liz.

young stroker the body snatcher🔻

I would love an actual photo book of the shortest cops in America. gonna send in some chud I went to high school with, hopefully this becomes a reality ☝️

A Yee

JROTC in SF public schools were always full of weenies...

Robbie H.

Once you realize that zionism completely depends on antisemitism, in order to call for it's own existence....you see why they do what they do.

Robbie H.

I think this current generation has this genocide to understand the brutality of the holocaust. It's hard to feel numbers in a book. These kids have been BOMBARDED with the most horrific images. You don't unsee that. I think this generation has a better understanding of the holocaust and what genocide is than the last 3 did.

M Mmd

That cold open was fucking top tier gold 😭😭😭 please PLEASE do a whole episode like that lmaooo

Mats Jonathan Siekmann

Here in Berlin, 150 professors signed a letter speaking out against the police being called on pro Palestine protests. A lot of politicians criticized them immediately, one even going so far as to say that what the protestors are saying isn’t free speech, it’s a crime. The Axel Springer press suggested to have the professors on the watchlist of the Verfassungsschutz. I feel like I am going insane living here.

chorchy

deboonker should be pronounced in written in a dutch/south african or perhaps belgian way...

JV

worth mentioning whenever bari weiss comes up from now on that she's literally the one who got refaat alareer killed. he didn't just die in random carpet bombing, she retweeted a scarcastic joke tweet from him putting a target on his back, he then immediately started getting threatening DMs from israeli troops, and then he received a call from the israeli army while sheltering at a school telling him he they would kill him soon and he should leave the crowded school to save lives. he went back to his apartment where he and some members of his family who were with him were then killed shortly after in a *targeted strike* which destroyed only that exact apartment they were in. it was a targeted assassination prompted directly by bari weiss!

Fama

💯

Dan

1:13:36- 1:14:29 I was in the Army Cadets in Canada as a teen, and from what you're describing, it sounds nearly identical to ROTC. None of us were cool, a lot speech impediments, and a few weird authoritarian kids who like militarism. At least we weren't part of the public schools, though.

Max Legassie

the resource officer at my high school (in the beautiful state of Maine) could not have been taller than 5’4”

RoyRogercFreely

One again a gay brace would rule the world, much too powerful

Natalie

Took me a minute to finish this cause i knew it would upset me but it was genuinely one of my favorite episodes in a long time. Brace's passion got me fired up and Liz talking about Vietnam protests was such a good tie in. Reminded me why i love this show. Plus the unhinged ending was amazing. Love to all of you guys

Vivster

This right here mane!

Tash

I was born in 2002 and I totally agree, I also think a lot of younger people in western countries have grown up with Muslim classmates who had to flee their home countries in the post 9/11 years due to the wests assault on the Middle East, so when we do see those horrific images coming out of Gaza it’s a lot harder to just ignore it like those in our parents generation might because we have literally grown up with the survivors of similar bombardments.

Lars

Angry & Depressed. Can't believe this is the US in 2025.
