i think liz (and maybe brace, who knows) might enjoy the Bravo Docket podcast. it’s a couple lawyers who are Bravo fans, and they talk mostly about Real Housewives’ legal issues and criminal activity… they have done many many episodes on erika jayne and jen shah, but they talk about alllllll of the housewife lawsuits. they’ve done a few episodes on the chrisley’s too, but i’m in the same boat as y’all in terms of never hearing of them until the pardon.

In theory, yes, the consciousness transfers to the exonerated clone. The conflict of the story can stem from a tech billionaire starting a more "efficient" way of cloning, which will be beneficial to the government (saves money, employs less people, etc), the body that is in charge of reanimating the innocent victims of the insta-kill. That company is given a gov contract. The problem arises because this highly AI-driven process is muddied with errors, creating clones with major personality defects, rage, and a thirst for chaos. The AI programmed the clones with this incurable victim complex, a faulty data backed God complex, and a taste for revenge on a society that would support an "instant death" for alleged criminals. I think there is something there. You can finish it tho, I'm busy.
