I'm a nurse (granted, a murse) with three kids, i know rubbing the nipples is common for manual stimulation and I suppose the kissing does release "let down" hormones, but I've never had someone explicitly recommend doing that. And I've NEVER heard of the contraction vibrator in any of my schooling or experiences with my wife's labors LMAO. But honestly if it works and you want to try non-phamalogical forms of induction that's great. The other options are pitocin which I hear causes crazy intense and painful contractions, or a cervical dialating balloon which also sounds intensely painful.

After our perinatal appointments today, it sounds like our baby will be coming out early via inducement on September 9. She will barely squeak into her 37th week and be "early term." She's no longer getting the nutritional support she needs in gestation and is going to have to come out. I was super hesitant to listen to this episode because it's been a tough day but I also just needed to put something on to do my fake email job. It sounds like your child is doing well and it's nice to hear even a stranger going through the same thing. When the record collection Crack Pots was posted, I watched that while going through my books, choosing which to keep and which to get rid of to make room in our home. I now see that you were probably doing the same thing.

It only gets better as they get older and become closer to the adult versions of themselves- my youngest just started his freshman year of highschool and after his first week in school he has started a school approved club that allows him and his friends/comrades to set up a lunchtime table next to the US army recruitment table that has a banner that reads “If you sign up to serve a country that asks you to fly a drone in exchange for a big truck and reduced college tuition you are a CHUDD….ask me why!” And they have an AI mural of Mount Rushmore with trump, Obama, Jeff Epstein, Charlie Kirk, Netanyahu, Zuckerberg and Hilary with big giant ford trucks and eagles and American flags on it. The first day they set up their table they played this strange Gen Alpha version of that Toby Keith 9/11 song where he talks about “shoving a boot up your ass” on a loop, throughout all 5 lunch periods- that was the only thing they were told they can’t do anymore because the lunch staff got sick of it . Otherwise they have followed exact guidelines for student clubs and organizations in the student handbook - including getting a staff advisor ( they went for the AP US History teacher and he instantly agreed 😇)
