Louise

It was about ten minutes in when Liz said "it's like psychic streamlining" and Azealia didn't really vibe with that, that's when I knew this was going to be uncomfortable and it was.

Ty

VanLeft

what does god want me to do with this information?!

Erin WM

The overlap between Trueanon and the Joe Budden Podcast continues...

dani loose

this ep is why I started listening... been so excited for this

Brian Long

“Someone I won’t mention” at 5ish minutes is Grimes, right? Lol

zac

she should get a third mike just to rag on Brace

Peter G

Wow, I became a gumshoe right in time

Ehren Burton

I wish Liz would talk more when there are guest and I wish Brace would drop his cringy "I had sex/ate out _____" bit.

Jesse

:/

Ian

what the fuck is she doing on this podcast..... do you two realize you have gay listeners and patrons right?

ultramiraculous

Azealia Banks is a fucking icon idk what you're on about @Ian

ultramiraculous

To the 1:06 mark and there it is. "Gay dudes fucking love you".

hdx

She sounds like a rambling QAnon Facebook post

vini damazio

Probably the weirdest and strangest episode so far, almost doesn't feel like TrueAnon, but it's cool that it happened.

hdx

Expected: deep dive into the music industry / elite sickos from someone close to the heat Delivered: super AI flesh cyborgs colonizing mars, Amazon/Bezos is good actually, butthole soap advert

Pat

bought a juicer @brace?

Joel

this was so tense haha

J

This is about what I expected from peeps making 48k a month

Jacob K

Brace, you're a very talented interviewer

Kelgore Trout

Why do I feel like Azealia doesn’t like my gurl Liz and why am I so mad about it

Stephen Wells

I remember the food stamp booklets. For change you got a little flimsy slip or strip of paper that got destroyed in the laundry. The stores loved all that free money that never got redeemed. The cards are better for humans who are hungrey. Cash would be even better. But that's reserved for the corporatti.

Samuel Hibbs

Compared to the last ep this was very who care.

Kerwin

Brace is right about the taco bowl. I think about that tweet several times a day.

Lorna MacRitchie

I listened for 26 mins. Not worth the time at all.

Steve O. Harvey

this is really weird she's obv very fucked up. some of her shit is just wack too like there'a a westworld on mars...?? not much chemistry.

Matthew Trimble

My wife couldn't finish it and I feel dumber because I did. Azealia is some kind of woo woo bullshit woke. Disappointed honestly.

Bryan Skinner

This should be labeled “True Anon - Seinfeld Edition”. It was a show about nothing.

Joe Howden

I’m not familiar with azalea banks, is she high/wasted in this or is this normal?

gethaunted

she sounds like 90s rosie perez

Some constructive feedback for what’s its worth: Don’t be afraid to challenge your guests even if they are celebrities. Azealia was instinctually contrarian - notice she argued almost every point or joke Brace made - fine, that’s her thing, it’s novel and kind of cool for a while. But when invited to actually put a flag in the sand of her own, she dodged every topic (didn’t want to go into conspiracies, Elon, music industry, etc). Everything to her was boring, negative, not worth talking about, etc. Fine but then why be so contrarian about every little point brought up by the hosts, if nothing truly matters? Again, at first I was into it, but by the end the combativeness seemed like more of a schtick/crutch for her to lean on while avoiding any meaningful commitment to a subject that went beyond surface level takes. Brace did his best to steer it but it ended up going in circles and felt very disjointed and meandering - the conversation needed more structure. And the vain quest to get laughter/gratification from Azealia was a bit cringe. I understand that she threw Brace off his game and he was leaning on humor to keep the interview moving - but the self-deprecation didn’t achieve anything and kind of just gave her an easy target. Rather, challenging her to go deeper on some controversial topics that she was reticent about, would have made the conversation much more intriguing and meaningful. Stand your ground when there is disagreement, rather than ceding the ground under the guise of playing jester, and that will lead to the kind of conversation people want to hear. For what it’s worth. All that said, much love to Brace and Liz you guys fucking rock and this episode was still legendary for the idea alone haha. Keep doing what you do <3

Blaz Kelbl

I felt that if the interview had some topic in which Azealia's perspective would be important, the whole thing would be good. But the topics they touched weren't really explored, it was just a random opinion, bad joke and move on.

John

Knew Brace was an op

Steven Miles

Love you guys. This is the first time I've not finished an episode. That chick is fucking obnoxious and not in the funny obnoxious way like liz and brace but in the mean girl middle schooler kind of way. Super fucking annoying

Hannah

this hurt but still love u guys

Samjuuul Parnter

Really thought I'd dig Azealia, dig I did not.

Quincy Judd

worst episode ever, why?????????

nikkibexx

have her back, listening to someone own Brace for once was incredible

Layla

What is the sound at 60:23 from?

arachne

boring and annoying episode

Alexis Smith

I love this and laughed the whole time. Hope she comes back!

BL

"More power to Jeff Bezos?" Is that even possible? What in the actual fuck?! 🤮

Carla Amalie Fledelius

I love Azealia’s music, but I could never stand her personality. She seems like a very sad and hurt person, with a lot of self-hatred that she projects onto other people. Calling random (non-famous) black girls tar babies and telling them to go pick cotton, liberal use of the word faggot, supporting the mexico border wall etc. I thought maybe I’d listen to this and change my mind. But honestly I couldn’t even finish it. Also why is she putting on some fake accent? I’ve never hear her speak like that. She comes off as very mean too. Idk, not a fan of this episode

Amy Braun

Oof. You guys. This was bad.

Comedy News

Thought this was great (besides her sayin more power to Jeff Bezos). if you didn't like this it's probably cause you don't like acknowledging the bubble that we inhabit with liz and brace, that we cherish. Truth is we all want to change society but how? And wtf are we doing? A lot of just focus on our art. Wtf can we do? The situation seems helpless. Maybe we do need to start working manual labor jobs as Brace suggested before. We need direct action, of course. Or as Zizek says all we can do is "create space." True anon does that. I hope they keep doing stuff that divides us

Isaac

pete just say you liked it and shut the fuck up

Ben

Why am I listening to Azealia attempting to make sentences?

Süs

Loved this episode, it was so funny!

MurseInDaPurse

i liked this one, personally. things were so simple then...

danny

sounds like any standard dumbass coworker ive ever had
