God I hate having to do this. But I been in the weed industry along ass time. And I assure you I hate the industry almost as much as I hate having to be such a Reddit guy. But weed is regulated in legal states to a level higher than fruits vegetable or any other agricultural item. Now that doesn’t account for black market. However legal weed is tested to the parts per billion on most legal states for molds, heavy metals, and pesticides. Where as the tomato at your grocery store parts per thousand. Also psycho activity isn’t something that can necessarily be quantified by measuring thc concentration it is only one of multiple cofactors. More regulation would only be done for regressive reasons to be anti competitive pro corporate interest. Lastly people obviously are doing meow mix not weed. Everyone loves k now……however the ketamine,ketaset, or ketachloride in the streets these days is in actually just a pcp Analog (for real let’s just say I know cause I know run a control yourself and take to a lab to see if I’m wrong) that is astonishingly similar to k in its psycho active effects. As it’s effective dissociative. So ya there’s that fainting from weed pens is too strange unless they are taking Michael Hutchinson style pen rips

It’s not for me man. I talk to people all the time who even used to smoke weed, but because of getting older (getting a real job; having responsibilities) they don’t have the freedom to be high all the time anymore and keep their tolerance up. Smoking 20%+ thc weed or a 99% thc cart after not smoking for a month will be uncomfortable for most people

The "weed is too strong now" argument makes about as much sense as getting mad at jack Daniels because whiskey gets you more drunk than wine. The numbers telling you how much it will fuck you up are RIGHT THERE. As an adult it's your responsibility to understand them, just like alcohol. The main thing that's fucking people up is they're used to alcohol where the stronger it is the worse it tastes, if weed was like that this wouldn't be an issue.

Even still, the holding smoke is old school knowledge. The absorption of cannabinoids happens in about 3 seconds. Any longer holding and you are just absorbing more nasties (tar). You feel higher only from the oxygen deprivation. If you like that feeling, blow the smoke out after 3 seconds, then take a deep breath and hold it. You will get the same feeling you’re used to without the negative health effects. If you are vaporizing flower, holding it a while longer is effective for more absorption. If your smoking vape pens, don’t smoke vape pens.
