People are soooo scared of homeless people. Homeless people are not going to hurt you. They are always sick, or malnourished, or fucked up in some way that makes them bad at fighting. Worst case they get you a lil gross, WORST case. Most likely they'll just freak you out a bit if they bother you at all. You have to be kind of docile to be homeless and be humiliated everyday. All the dangerous people live indoors, sometimes in prison. Most people will become dangerous well before they reach homelessness. Like they get a 24 hour ban from reddit and do a mass shooting.

How many times were you injured by homeless person? I have literally only seen one guy almost punched by a homeless(maybe??) guy for stepping on his shoes or something. Skinny as hell, if you hit him back he'd probably disintegrate. I've been using public transit for a few years and that was the one time I saw any kind of actual violence from such a person. Meanwhile I have seen multiple bar fights despite barely ever going to bars or clubs.

Like I said, worst case they make you kinda gross, most will just freak you out a bit if they bother at all. Many of them could not physically hurt you even if they wanted to. I go to San Francisco a lot and my biggest problem is the lack of public toilets for the number of people living outside. They had some over engineered fancy one which of course was broken and locked or something, couldn't use it. There should be a federal law that for a certain population density a place must have a certain number of free public toilets kept to a certain standard.

Yea, you got freaked out. It's a risk in any human interaction. Think back on it and laugh. I remember one guy, I had to look back because the stuff he was saying reminded me of Kanye, I think he was actually just weird. Would be nice if there was emergency mental health responders as opposed to police or vigilantes murdering people, but iiwiis. Discomfort is not danger and comfort is not security.

People blame krasner for all this shit but literally a week or two ago local news did a story about how Philly cops have been scanning and logged license plates for like 4 years now looking for stolen cars and have recovered 0 vehicles. It's fucking insane they will just straight up tell you that they aren't gonna do anything either. My friend got his truck stolen a few years ago and when the cop eventually came by like 3 hours later he was like yeah, there is nothing we can really do about this sorry and left.

my car got stolen in philly and i was able to recover it (police of course were like "that's cool were not going to investigate this further" even though there was a bunch of other stolen stuff like a catalytic converter in the car) and then it was stolen again and taken to a scrap yard in jersey by a tow truck driver. I got video of the theft and knew exactly where it was taken to because I had put tracking devices in the car and the police from both departments shrugged their shoulders. when i had to report the theft to insurance they like almost refused to believe that the police didn't do anything lol. guess they didn't deal with a lot of claims in cities

In 2014 my friend and I were trying to buy coke from a dutch guy in Guatemala. We went back to his apartment where there was an old man who looked like he was dying in the dutch guys bed. so we went and hung out on the roof, The dutch guy put on psy trance super loud and the girls we were with asked him if it was possible to change the music because it was really abrasive, he got super offended and went on a rant about a purported scientific study where they played psy trance to cows and chickens and it caused them to produce more eggs and milk. right after this rant the dutch guy ended up in a screaming match with someone in an adjacent apartment building, who also wanted him to turn off the "music". Now anytime psy trance comes up I think of those poor cows and chickens.
