I usually dread non wrestling fans talking about wrestling. It always turns in JRE w/ Felix Belderman but you guys did a great job. Also never have I felt so much existential dread for my chosen fav sport.

If someone were to do something to Paul McCartney, nobody would notice. The guy hasn't had a hit record since 1986. Sure, we'd get all these huge retrospectives about McCartney and the Beatles, but you know what? Look at the magazine rack at the drugstore or grocery store. Odds are pretty good that there already is a Beatles retrospective issue of something, and if not, wait a week. It will just crowd out the coverage of the British royals for a month or so. The overexposure will annoy me, and I'm a Beatles fan so it will be worse for you, but they probably have these retrospectives for magazines and television already produced for when these guys drop dead soon anyways, as Paul is 81 and Ringo is 83. TL;dr: If a Beatle dies, nobody will really care.

I've only been to SF and/or Oakland maybe ten times, including back in the 90s and early 2000s, when hippies and young gay kids could still afford to live there. And it always shocked me how sports-obsessed the Land of Haight-Ashbury and Jefferson Airplane really is. @dan That's a fair point but you have to remember intelligence agencies still would have seen him as a liability even if his views were changing.
