Yay ep 2 AND 3! Ah, right in the feels nostalgia xD That one soundtrack with Deku and the slime, just never gets old hahaha it's soo emotionally badass! I love it <3 All Might's the best. End of ep 2 never fail to make me cry xD I think you'll enjoy the rest of the cast. The VAs for some of them, you may recognize too :3

it sucks to hear/see the denial of dreams, but also, as the #1 hero, itd be irresponsible and reckless to just encourage them. it could easily lead to someone with a full life ahead of them, accidentally getting killed too soon.

Reminds me of a joke I saw posted on reddit recently, where the descriptions of Manga in a store were changed by the employees to describe the story. I think for MHA it was something like "boy cries until he gets superpowers"

I love how All Might had Midoriya start with training that's different from the type of saving most current heroes do. It shows that heroism isn't always flashy and attention-seeking. Sometimes, heroism is about doing the small things to help out instead of glory. You won't get praised for doing the small things, but they're important nonetheless. Good way to train a young hero

I have never actually put it into words until now, but I think I have to admit it. Deku is my absolute favorite MC as far as a character goes. Just how much of an amazing person he is and the values he exemplifies. If people would even attempt to be half as good as he is, we’d have almost no problems in our world.
