Ahhh, work delayed because of rain, a good cup of coffee, and new mha releases. Perfect friday morning. Also keep in mind, that despite Shoto's abuse, he is pretty much already more powerful then a lot of pros. He also has good judgment and honor. I'm saying that more to highlight what an incredible person Shoto became in spite of everything that happened to him. And think of Endeavor as a Bakugo that never grew up.

i know, i know, everyone's got their thoughts on sub v dub and all the "real" anime fans only watch subs. but as stellar as this episode is subbed, i think the dub hits even harder. if you haven't watched this dubbed you should definitely check it out. i really like the interpretation "it's yours! your quirk not his!" more than deku just asking "it's your power, isn't it?" either way, this episode is SO GOOD. 🧊🔥

One of the big reasons I urge people to watch both. The sub is incredible but the dub lines are SO good as well.

As a foreigner where both of them are in a different language than my own, I'd objectively say that sub is way superior than dub. Dub always sound like some quiet shouting and not natural at all, wouldn't recommend it at all

Endeavor to Shoto = unforgivable I agree with you 100%. Bakago to everyone is also unforgivable to me. He's just your basic thug bully. I know they're showing little glimpses of other sides to his character and they're showing some character growth, but none of that matters to me. He's a bully and the way he treats people is unforgiveable. I've seen the end of season 4 now and that aspect of his character is still exactly the same as in season one. It's that aspect of his character that most needs to change for me to begin to like him but it's the one part of him that has remained locked in place. I can't even imagine what they'd have to do now to make me like Bakago. I don't even want him to apologise because I find it unforgivable anyway. I guess it would have to start with him acknowledging his past behaviour and changing for the future, but that's obviously not enough. He would have to do something for each of his victims to demonstrate his genuine regret before I'd start to like him, but I can't for the life of me imagine what that would be. He's interesting as a villain, though a little two-dimensional so far. I keep waiting for him to show me something, because you keep mentioning how your audience tells you he's gonna turn it around, but I just haven't seen him do anything decent yet for his fellows. If he doesn't become a villain outright then he's going to become a hero just like Endeavor: respected for his power but feared and avoided for his personality.

"his victims" what victims? the only victim he had is deku and i dont see how him bullying him is 100% unforgivable. other then that all he did to anyone else was for the most part is yelling and being rude. you seem to be exaggerating his actions quite a bit.

2026-09-11 23:00 someone is speaking too soon about the number 2. in real life people do horrible things, some of them grow and some never change, its until you do something horrible that your perspective changes. Jesus died for our sins, even he will forgive those who were once terrible but changed. I for one am looking forward to seeing you eat those words, or me eat these lol your redemption prediction is spot on tho. but for now, lets just enjoy the rest of season 2. its so good ;)

I just want to clarify because I think a lot of people misunderstand this since Endeavor has been physical, when he said he put her in a hospital, he meant a mental one.

Deku doing the most trying to get Shoto to embrace all of himself instead of limiting himself, while still trying to win the fight. Shoto only using his icy power is a lot like Ichigo only wanting to use his shinigami powers, only in a different way. Shoto wants to use only his mom's powers, while Ichigo has been lied to his entire life by everyone around him. He didn't know that the hollow inside of himself was his true zanpakuto. It was only when he learned who he truly was that he embraced his full power. It was only then that he found his true zanpakuto. The blade is me indeed! Now, in this fight, Midoriya inspires Shoto to embrace all of himself, and it's beautiful to watch
