When another reactor was watching this episode, she guessed that Bakugo’s hero name would sound like the title of a Fall Out Boy song and it’s hilarious because she was right 😂

I really enjoyed the Sports festival episodes, even though I didn't like the idea of the competition at all - Be the best! Defeat your rivals! blah, blah, blah. It just seems much more heroic to be learning how to cooperate with, rather than how to defeat, each other. That is something I like about the show, though. Many of the "heroes" could so easily be "villains" in a different show. The heroes will work together but they each want to stand out and outdo their fellow heroes because they'll get more cash if they do. They've created an interesting world and they seem to be true to it all the way through. It's very interesting world building.

LOL - that's how Eraser Head got his name. It could be worse. My younger brother is named, Daniel. He was born when I was 5 and my best friend at the time had a baby brother named Daniel, so I wanted one too. That's a stupid way to get a name lol btw... you could learn to read hiragana and katakana in an afternoon if you want. It's easy to learn, then it'e just practice to make sure you remember properly. You're watching a lot of anime so you're seeing both scripts pretty regularly. It should be a piece of cake for you.

I think Shoto didn't come up with a proper hero name involving fire/ice because he's still confused about whether he can even accept the fire part of his ability, since it came from his father. His family name came from his father, too. Maybe 'Shoto' was the name chosen by his mother. He's very unsure of who he is but he's still absolutely sure about rejecting his father.

Well that's the problem with their current society. Their Hero society is so focused on powerful quirks, heroes and their commercialization of course they would have essentially commercial showcase for the hero industry to speculate and start drafting the best in this power pageantry. Nothing else matters other than having the most popular heroes in their agencies so that they can get the most attention and therefore the most money. It really is pretty corrupt.

It's kind of hard to catch, but at the end when Iida's leaving for his internship, you can see Shoto watching him in the background. He knows something's up.

Fr I don’t wanna complain but it feels like she’s stretching out content lately, especially with MHA and Naruto. She went from posting 2 MHA and 4+ Naruto at a time to doing 1 MHA and like 2 Naruto, even though she’s basically in a filler arc in Naruto. 💀

I never realized Bakugo's hero name is "Bakusatsuou" but the translation really messed with the creativity of it.

Bakugo's naming sense always cracks me up 🤣🤣🤣 Then we have Deku choosing Deku as his hero name. Ochaco changed the meaning of the name to something inspirational rather than derogatory and Deku has taken it on as a badge of honor for all to hear 🥹 This show does a really good job at going from humor to heartfelt in no time at all
