always a pleasure seeing Shikamaru in action, his work is just so impressive :) we got to see some nice teamwork here as well, though Kakashi and Shikamaru definitely stole the show :D the fighting here was so well done, so satisfying, lovely choreography :) the reveal of Kakuzu's abilities was great as well :) and the little hint of his age was quite a shocker, that he faced the 1st Hokage, dude is ancient :D interesting how he mentioned that there is no such thing as pure immortality, with multiple characters either trying to achieve it or having some way of getting there, but its never straightforward thats true :) Shikamaru finishing off Hidan was so good, that whole sequence was brilliantly done with Asuma and the dialogue and the visuals, just everything you would want :) and then ofc the big bang Naruto finally pulling off the Rasenshuriken and devastating Kakuzu with a beautiful hit :D

Shikamaru is so amazing. I do wonder what the plan was before Kakashi joined. Kakashi was the one fighting. Choji and Ino were hindrances more than anything lol

The Rasenshuriken had always reminded me of Senbonzakura. When Kakuzu gets hit with it it looks like he is getting absolutely torn to shreds by Senbonzakura possibly even Senbonzakura Kageyoshi.

Yes absolutely standing ovation for Naruto and Shakamaru both. Yes it seems we have lost a lot of Akatsuki so far but don’t forget Sasori did get replaced by Tobi at the end of that arc. He’s a good boy.

this is one my favorite moment when you first see kakashi is memorized with naruto , in the similarities that the fourth hokage and naruto share :):) but still really enjoy your reaction to Naruto Shippuden, look forward to future reacitons !!

So that Kashi and Tenzo could explain limitations of his jutsu...for the flavour of Naruto character and for the battle to look more real, less obvius. Same as when Shikamaru tried to cut Hidans head and failed.. even tho he prepared a special knife for that momment.

Kakazu took them by surprise. The plan probably would have been for Choji to grab the blood when he did the spikey human boulder. Or maybe ino possess hidan while they're both under shadow possession. It doesn't really matter because Kakazu would have punched a hole in whatever the plan was. The real kicker was that Kakashi still took the blood after he was positive he had nuked kakazu. That's serious contingency thinking, that does justice to kakashi's character. But still.

I think the Dub is underrated. I think Sub is still overall better for Naruto. For Dragon Ball Z the Dub is much better than the Sub. Not even close.

while i understand the annoyance at Shizune, its literally her job. Shes Counsel/Advisory to the Hokage, shes supposed to challenge and give alternates so the Hokage doesnt make blind decisions

I dont think they ever really explained why or how Hidan is immortal he really sticks out in the story. He showed up and then peaced out as soon as he appeared with no backstory or explanation to his wild powers besides worshipping some evil god. I wished we got more explanation about his abilities.
