Arthur IS delusional, and that’s the best part of his character. It only becomes more and more unhinged. I’m not a simp but I love Arthur and Maki is my queen. The end credits are about the sister, she showed us a burned picture of that place in this episode.

I’ve seen the show before but I don’t remember all the details of how the world works. If you think about how water works tho, you can make some educated guesses. Unless you’re landlocked behind mountains without many nearby water sources, it would make sense the world still gets plenty of rain. Water evaporates from intense heat and if the world is on fire, there’s a good chance there are plenty of storms, probably more erratic and dangerous storms as well. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if the ocean levels had risen as well. The map they showed in episode three made it seem like many places were flooded.

I "love" how in some shows "talking is a free action" is taken to extremes.

This is starting to feel fascinating again. My first watch was on my lunch break, so the experience was mostly defined by the visuals. I mean, Zoro is here since day one, and I never realized. Re-watching and receiving such an insight just from the audio work alone makes a new experience.
