Faye goes on gambling binges cuz she doesn't want to face her past, very similar to Toji in JJK lol. FYI the CB movie takes place between episodes 22 and 23 and it's close to 2 hours long, I read there is some small stuff that is supposed to be sequential in the episode leading up to the movie and episode after but nothing very significant, I guess one con of watching the movie after the series is that it doesn't really take the story further and it feels kinda sad there would no more episodes after.

Yes would definitely love to see you react to the movie, either before or after you finish the series.

the end of episode 18 hits me harder than any of the episodes that are more overtly sad. Its to the point where i usually skip this episode on rewatches because its just too hard to watch

I always forget how emotionally manipulative Speak Like a Child can be (in a good way). Life grinds us down, and everytime I see that episode it reminds me to give myself some grace, and try to get some of my inner child back.

Speak Like a Child was the first time anime really moved me. I grew up watching typical action Shonen and that episode was eye opening in that anime can be more than just hype action.
