Holy Shlapknops

Ayo let’s go excited to watch this! P.S please stop using Vimeo why did you go back to it 😭 or at least Patreon please make an Apple TV app

PG Modehouse

If you click on the V icon in the bottom left, it opens on the vimeo.com page, and there's a screen cast icon there you can use to cast to your TV.

Holy Shlapknops

I tried that many times but the screen just goes black after the page loads

Salkin

I never had any Problems

FlexiejayAnime

Thanks @hurry for helping. @holy I am using Vimeo as a way to quickly get you guys content <3 Especially if I'm working up to the minute it posts. Patreon has a much longer processing time - If I have the time for it to load, or schedule ahead I will use patreon. It is my preferred way of uploading my content - but vimeo has it's perks! Hope that makes sense :)

Ryne

Fun fact: Vivi was not originally planned to be a princess. Miss Wednesday was supposed to be a one off villain during the Laboon/Reverse Mountain Arc. It's why her personality kind of feels wildly different between then and Whiskey Peak. From what I understand, he drew her with her hair down between the arcs and suddenly decided to change his plans since she looked like a princess like that. Oda is good at planning, but he's even better at improvising.

Holy Shlapknops

Well if I had to choose between accessibility and receiving OP reactions quickly I’d defo choose the latter. 👍 Just finished it. Now you know how Zoro and Luffy are cut from a DIFFERENT CLOTH! The next episodes are gonna be wild as well! Hope you enjoy

Buki

Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop is probably what was popping up when you thought of a Miss Valentine loool

Maya Coleman

Luffy and zoro fighting made me kinda sad and I feel like luffy was out of character for fighting zoro when he fully trusted nami back in Arlong park

Mikki_Frost

Imma just say it, i feel like the Luffy animal abuse thing is blown out of proportion by a lot of people, be honest about it, most of the time it's self defence 😂They got what was coming to them. Haven't noticed it being a big thing here tho, but oh boy some other people/channels xD Some of them it's almost like they expect the main characters to just let the animals eat or kill them or something.

DiegoTO

Hi! I am the one that has the animal abuse list, should I add all the crimes that Luffy is committing?

DiegoTO

Nah my goat Karoo is here!!!

charlie

this is something that Oda was made to do by the editors because it would be interesting

DiegoTO

I do it because it's funny, I don't really care, or think it reduces Luffy's value. I just think is funny how our main character has a crazy list of crimes on his name.

DiegoTO

I hate this Luffy moment, but there are not many like this so I can let it go Also out of all the characters that don't die on One piece I'll say that probably Miss Monday and Mr 9 are definetly dead but with Oda you never know

FlexiejayAnime

Hahahahah bro I neeed the list you're cracking me up

FlexiejayAnime

YES - thank you. It is lol Whoa you nailed in on your first guess hahah

Mikki_Frost

Yeah wasn't refering to anyone i've seen here :) I should probably have been clearer that i was talking about the people who actually takes issue with the "abuse"

Tabo51

We'll learn more later on about what Zoro means about swordsmen being able to cut what they want while Kitetsu, the cursed sword, needs to be 'controlled', but a very very simplified explanation I can give at this point is that it's essentially "too sharp" and he realizes that he needs to be more conscious when using it because he may end up cutting things unintentionally. Notice that he didn't use his three sword techniques until he had to face off against Luffy. Also, we are introduced to the legendary VA "Sokotsuya" who voices Karoo! Sokotsuya is actually an alias Sanji's VA used whenever he voiced anything for personal gigs but didn't want to be credited for it. As Sanji (and Usopp) are essentially missing from these episodes he stepped in to do Karoo and used his alias in the credits. Since the suffix "-ya" can mean "store" the main straw hat crews' VA's later also used "Sokotsuya" followed by a city/location of their choice to differentiate themselves whenever voicing another character in the series.

Cameron

That dramatic pause for the Nose Fancy lol

Abracalabrador

I dont know.. I feel like Zoro can handle it

Abracalabrador

lmao not Flexie skipping the recap... now you're a true one piece fan

sil patel

I don't like this Luffy moment at all. This feels so out of character. He trusts all of his crew to a fault. However, I can let it go because it was a small moment, and Luffy doesn't act out of character again. I don't know if it is true. but i feel like Oda was told to do this to make a interesting fight.

John Paul

I caught up to your One Piece reactions, I have been bingeing since yesterday when I joined.

Ziggy Stardust

If you havn't figured it out yet (maybe I missed it?) ... The "unluckies" are called that for a specific reason, the key is in their names! :D

Tom From Guam

Gotta earn that bounty somehow. Just thinking how funny it would be if Luffy got the highest bounty just by committing a long string of extremely low-level crimes instead of all the major events he takes part in.

Mikki_Frost

LOL, that would be hilarious!

Ziggy Stardust

You forgot Elder Abuse... poor Mayor Boodle

DiegoTO

That is so right! I was running trough the manga and I totally missed it, thank you

Ziggy Stardust

**Spoiler Warning** Nope, they're fine, they got together, had a kid, and settled down on Cactus Island. They're in a cover story (ch 632)

Jessie

Miss Valentine is the same VA as the goat Rukia

TriplT

I see this take a lot. It‘s definitely one of the more controversial moments out there. Luffy is the type to trust his crew unconditionally but then again he‘s also the type that goes out of his way to defeat major villains just because a kid gave him something to eat. Zoro actually also kind of wanted this fight eventually and they had their fun testing each others skill. And that this entire fight is basically a huge gag moment just adds to the unseriousness. In my opinion this moment is overhated. I really enjoyed this fight overall and I much prefer this over two potential 1v1s where both baroque works agents are defeated in isolation by both Luffy and Zoro.

KevinsLunchbox

Igarappappa! Is my favorite attack. It's so goofy. Igarappoi was the first time watching One Piece that I realized I need to pay attention to characters and their hyper unique traits. Klahador and the way he pushed up his glasses totally got me. I didn't see that coming. Gen-san and the pinwheel on his hat made me cry. I didn't see that coming. And then now here's this guy who clears his throat, harmonizes, and also has insane hair curls. Luffy even asks him about his hair. Guess what. It's guns. It's all guns. Lol. Ya got me. I didn't see that coming. Edit: I forgot that you get real names at the end of the first episode. Igaram is a G. We hold respect on his name in this household.

DiegoTO

No way! Well thanks for the info

Andres

Baroque is pronounced buh-roke. Almost like when I don’t have money for Cheez-it’s at the corner store, and my friends tell me “damn, you’re buh-roke!” Also, the boogers, Oda-sensei. Why the boogers!!!

Kcosta

2:50 ish - !!!Not the animal abuse???? counter- is that attacking animals or eating them? Or both who keeping track of

Kcosta

4:16 I’m allergic to banana

Kcosta

9:49 “nami did not let me down” (explicit of your choice) nami served arlong and got liberated and even told Luffy that it was a navigators job to get their captain to where they want to go (if she ever says no I honestly don’t know, you’ll see and prolly call it out)

Kcosta

16:46 on Zoro beating the boroque agent- You’ve seen how he trains his grip has to be insane and he just squeezed till she gave up

Kcosta

18:10 I’m surprised you didn’t call back to when you said you’d assume people would think Zoro would be the captain with his prestige

Kcosta

23:45 “the white one” is the Wado Ichimonji and it is Zoro’s treasure

Ben

Its actually so underrated how you actually watch the openings and endings! They are so good and get even better as you listen to them more I swear

Kcosta

27:36 alabasta has been mentioned so I’ll shut up for a few episodes but but I’ll timestamp my comments so I can find my way back

Kcosta

35:30 Ik I just said I wasn’t gonna comment but Yes Oda literally thinks “hehe this would be cool” and makes it happen

FayeS

NOOOO, don't end like that :((((

Kcosta

So much I can’t say, amazing react as always tho

Ziggy Stardust

no offense bud, but can you please stop flooding the comment section? i got no problem with what you're saying but you don't need to send 10 different one-line messages. thanks

Promanex(Alex)

Many people didn’t like Luffy reasoning here to be mad, as far as I know Oda didn’t want to write this plot but had to listened to his editor or something. Luckily there won’t be another moment like this where it just feels off, this plot is the only time where I feel kinda weird but there are no more plots where I feel weird like this and I am caught up to the manga

Alex Hencher

Luffy thinks with his stomach, which was filled by the people Zoro beat up. Zoro is also always looking for a fight. "Cut down" might be the term used, but if Zoro actually cut them down they'd be in pieces, so he obviously went easy on them. So Luffy wakes up, she's his new food source beat to shit, and they tell him Zoro did. Luffy is also an idiot, and he's so full he's distended, which probably reduces his brain capacity from double digits to single ones. Luffy also never turns down the opportunity for a good fight. He punched a giant whale in the eye for shits and giggles basically.

Alex Hencher

Eh, boys will be boys. They each said they were out to kill but there's also very little evidence either was actually feeling that way. The idea Luffy could fight a swordsman of Zoro's caliber and not lose limbs is crazy, and the fact Luffy didn't totally erase a handicapped Zoro is also telling. I think the cause of the fight is a little wonky, but the contest itself makes a lot of sense, especially when you put it in context with events that happen in Water 7.

Alex Hencher

I think an argument could arguably be made for giving him the number 1 spot. One Piece is straight up the acid trip of the century. Lewis Carrol and Alice have got nothing on Oda when you really think about it.

sil patel

I can agree. I don't have a problem with it until Zoro tries to explain the situation to Luffy and Luffy calls him a liar. It's so shocking because Luffy's emotional intelligence is so consistently high. He knows exactly how each one of his crew mates feel inside even when they are lying to themselves like with Sanji or Nami in their respective arcs. He can see through them and understand. But it's like he doesn't trust zoro at all here.

Kcosta

Yea sorry adhd brain just says comment and I do but I really do try to condense 😭 will try harder tho im sorry 🧡🧡🧡

Morgan Hellström

Going to alabasta soon hahahahahhaha? Welcome to one piece

James Alagala

Can’t wait for you to see all the other types of devil fruits that are in this world.

Ripcordkill345

If Zoro treats women better by not striking them, that completely goes against his backstory

Tannaka

no his backstory goes about going all out against another swordman male or female doesnt matter. If its not a swordsfight and he doesnt strike them down its not against his backstory per se

Ilsuk Yang

Always love the way One Piece combines serious situations with humor. It shouldn't work, but, somehow, it does lol

DrNutso

Also he seems to have higher standards for female swordsmen. It seems like the reason he didn't finish off Tashigi was because acknoledging another female swordsman as a rival would feel like replacing Kuina. Zoro had decided that he only has one rival, one goal, and that goal is dead.
