Amazing reaction as usual! When you noticed the scars on yuji’s mom, you might not have thought deeper but kamo (the brain thing) essentially TOOK IT UPON himself (herself in the case LMAO) to give birth to Yuji…… which is crazzzzzzy. He literally jumped bodies to become a woman and got pregnant with yuji. In season 2 near the end, Kamo was also explained to be the father of all the death paintings (hence why choso is blood related to yuji)… so the father of choso is basically the mother of yuji 🫣😨 Also Naoya’s technique is the same technique that the Zen’in clan head used (the old man with the beard who was fighting alongside Maki and Nanami). The technique that uses fps to decide movement and increases their speed.

This might be a controversial opinion, but I’m not particularly fond of this new animation style, (which is basically the same as the CSM movie). While it’s undeniably creative and cinematic at times, I find it to be excessively cold and impersonal, almost soulless. I struggle to connect with the story because there are so many abrupt cuts and the distant portrayal of the characters. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but for me, the first season and the beginning of the second season had a lot more emotional depth. However, this is just my personal preference. I’ll try to enjoy it regardless.

20:55 my favorite part about all this is how this is simply Yuji as Yuji, not Sukuna. he's someone who has insane strength to begin with (hence how he can even handle Sukuna inside him) and i love how we get to see him grow as himself. :') for me, Sukuna just added to that strength but, even without him, Yuji is capable and i love that. also, Choso being such a protective brother will always be my favorite thing!!

If you noticed Naoya is Gin Ichimarus voice actor from bleach! Also Gojo doesn’t only have to die. Gojo is sealed meaning his faculties are out of his control meaning Megumi is the new head according to the will. Naoyas Curse Technique was explained in season 2. It’s basically a better version of his fathers FPS technique that allows him to move super fast

The rules of the Culling game are sooooo well thought out and set up, absolutely perfectly done to ensure the end goal. Also, by losing your technique they mean you die...99% that's how it works. And we will learn about the colonies soon, but there are seperate locations, and they are very obvious. Also gotta love that Yuji is still running into things Gojo told him about but never taught him.

I totally understand not enjoying the artstyle, as it all comes down to personal preference, but I definitely would not call it soulless. I actually think there's quite a bit of soul put into it, given how artistically interesting it is.

Instead of Yuji's emotions being gone, I would say that yuji is actually feeling too much. Too much guilt, grief, responsibility. Too much of a cog just meant to fulfill his role in the system.

It could be that the abrupt cuts and distant portrayals of the characters is a way to show how they're feeling after Shibuya, though this remains to be seen with the rest of the season. Personally, it's a mixed bag for me. While I do love how they improved some parts like how Naoya's cursed technique is animated (being portrayed differently from Naobito's technique - essentially the same technique), there are some off-putting sections in animation here and there. However, like I said, it could be a stylistic choice for the first few episodes before they fully lock in and mix that style with the styles of the previous seasons. Also, I really like that they made Tengen's voice be the same as the narrator Granny's voice. I was honestly wondering just who was it that kept droning on during season 2, and how they knew so much. Was it just a expositional voice or was it an actual character? Now it makes sense that it was Tengen explaining those moments as Tengen would be very knowledgeable on the individual techniques that were shown during Shibuya.

Some random japanese knowledge here. When Naoya steps into the room and they chastise him for being so late, he apologizes in slang (gomenchai) that is meant to come off as fun and light-hearted. You say it if what you did wasn’t that serious or if you want to sound cute. Just another sign of disrespect towards the other Zen’in
