First time I saw Bleach was as a teenager when I downloaded anime via torrents because back then I don't think we really had places to watch anime in England except for the like of Naruto and Dragon Ball in English on certain channels. Back then I didn't really know what "anime" was and even though I had watched Naruto, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Sailor Moon etc I think Bleach was one of the first ones I really saw as anime, if that makes sense lol. So wild to think nearly 20 years later we're at this point. I have some minor issues with this episode in the sense we should have gotten two episodes. How is Hueco Mundo now? Where is Isshin and Ryuken? Urahara and Yoruichi? I would have liked to see Ichigo and Orihime get together. Just small things but things that I felt was missing.

This show means so much to me and I can honestly say I can die in peace after its conclusion, which for many years it would seem that it was never going to get the flowers it truly deserved. I fell in love with the show for a multitude of reasons, the representation of the different cultures, music, fashion, poetry, and so much more. The inner conflict of the characters which ultimately led with you accepting yourself including the parts that you don’t like of yourself.. I can ramble for hours honestly but I’m just happy to have gotten to the end ; u ; I always told my self if I ever did get a tattoo it would be a bleach tattoo and I’m honestly inching closer and closer to making that a reality ! Thank you Flexie! For genuinely loving this show the way I do, I adored you’re every reaction 🤍

I first watched Bleach on Youtube as Sub at like 240p hell if I had good internet maybe even up to 480p. Well now we only have to wait 20 years for Kubo finally starting the Hell arc but that might be just wishful thinking on my part :D

Ngl, yesterday, the moment I pushed play I was emotional as well, it just hits hard watching this episode... It was basically a 1:1 to the manga and it was perfect, cinema. Rangiku was remembering THAT moment with Gin in the snow. You can also see Lisa being a captain (can't remember the squad number tho lol). For me, the scenes with the feet, were more like symbolisms of Aizen's speech about despair and courage/bravery. I'm pretty sure the flashback when they remember how it all started is an extended clip of the 20th anniversary video, I'm 99% confident. Like father, like son with the flowers to the spirit. And I mean, c'mon, with how OP Ichigo and Orihime are, it's not surprising that his son is, as much if not more OP haha. The fact that Kazui is Orihime with Ichigo's hair and Ichika is Rukia with Renji's hair, perfect!, also Kubo said that Kazui's and Ichika's zanpakuto has traits of both their parents in his sealed state. PS: At the beginning of the credits it reads Orihime's maiden name but later on at the "Staff" section it reads as Orihime Kurosaki, the little details...

Thank you for the reaction!!! Your voice shaking before even pushing play says everything about how important this show and all its characters mean to you. Thank you for sharing this with us! One thing that really stood out to me with how the anime ends is the emphasis on Aizen’s speech and the footprint with Brave stepping over Despair. There’s already been a feet emphasis throughout this arc (a weird sentence). Orihime stepping forward to erase Yhwach, Grimmjow’s foot sinking iinto the sand as he stands up and refuses to devour Haribel, the foot-centric angle of how they showed Ichigo stepping forward to slash Yhwach the final time. Ichigo, as I’m sure you know, is the pronunciation of strawberry in Japanese, but the Japanese characters of his name 一護 literally mean “One Protect”, which of course well, his whole thing for the entire story. Kazui, his son, 一勇, the characters literally mean “One Brave”. Despair is finally fully destroyed by one courage. That courage to live on and face the challenges of a life where death exists, overcome despair and write their own stories is literally the next generation that Ichigo protected.

I grew up with Dragon Ball, and it’s actually my favorite. I can’t wait for it to return! Whenever something new comes out, I get so excited because it always reminds me of how it all started, how far the main characters have come, the storyline... basically everything. I understand how you feel about Bleach ending.

You mentioned Ichigo not removing his sheath, however, remember when we saw the horn of salvation form, he said, "I should be able to use it, but I'm not good at it" or something to that effect. Considering that most of Ichigo's powers were restrained by his Quincy powers, we could look at it in this perspective that he didn't have time to properly train with all his powers

There’s something really beautiful about Aizen, a man who spent over the first half of the show becoming an immortal perfect being, ends the series about how important mortality is and how ridding the world of said mortality would’ve taken away hope and courage. It almost feels like Aizen realized in the end that he lost something valuable

Now I wonder if tite kubo will continue on the arc be teased us with years ago. He said he had much more material left for bleach, and he did post something on 2021 if you ever want to read it. But hopefully we'll know more about his next works within the next couple of years

What a journey it has been. I found out about Bleach after a friend in primary school recommended it and the only way I could try it out was from dvds at the library. The Byakuya vs Ichigo battle was what made me a lifelong fan. 20 years later, I can't believe we are here at the final episode!

All the questions you have are unfortunately questions everyone had over a decade ago that we thought the anime would finally answer but it turns out the anime was far more 1:1 of what happens in the manga then what we thought.

Bleach will always be a special to me. Between the big three (Bleach, OP, Naruto) Bleach was originally my favorite because how cool the characters, the concept of the story, and the outfit. I hope we will see more of Bleach and Tite Kubo

On the cast listing of the second credits Orihime is written as "Orihime Kurosaki." Also a little fun thing Kubo mentioned, Kazui looks like Ichigo, but has a personality closer to Orihime and if the ever have a daughter, she will look like Orihime and have Ichigo's personality.

Can't Fear Your Own World's prologue start right after the Yhwach fight and the main events of the novel take places a couple of months after. It will answer some questions regarding the Soul King and a few characters that we didn't see in the last episode. The novel is considered soft canon, while it originally lined up with the manga, a few anime changes no longer line up. A lot of the revelations are treated as canon since a couple of things revealed there where shown in the anime, for example, Hirako's Bankai. There is another novel that sadly never got translated, "We Do Knot Always Love You," which is light hearted an also reveals what characters are doing after the war.

I found bleach when I ordered a disk of Full Metal Alchemist back in 2000 I think early 2000 and there was an extra disk of the first ep of Bleach and I was like huh then watched it and that was me hooked. This was off of ebay by the way

It is very emotional for me that Bleach series ending at this time in my life. It is my favorite anime that I grew up watching since high school in 2008. I feel like my childhood comes to a close. But what makes it bittersweet and beautiful is seeing Ichigo's kid and Rukia's kid in this final episode, knowing that I am having my first child soon in December. One chapter of my life ends as another begins.

I would pretty much just treat this as the end of Bleach. The anime VASTLY improved the ending of the manga, but it still leaves endless questions that Kubo had to answer after the fact through supplemental written material. As of right now, there is barely any material to make into an anime, and most of that material doesn’t even focus on Ichigo and the gang. What DOES focus on them is a single one-shot chapter that merely sets up the theoretical new “Hell Arc”, but that came out years ago at this point.

I remember being a sophomore in highschool being in my friends bedroom huddled around his PC as we watched the first episode of bleach. We were blown away and we took the first few episodes to our anime club at school and everyone was really hyped for it. We made it a weekly get together to watch each new bleach episode until he moved away. It's been a wild ride and we now have Mirrors High and the potential Can't Fear Your Own World/ potential Hell Arc. It's a great time to be a Bleach fan. Thanks for the reactions Flexie!

It'd be cool if you can react to the "No Breathes from Hell" one shot chapter . Its about 70 pages so its like a 30 min read through . It came out in 2021 & theres been no confirmation to a continuation.

I really enjoyed the TYBW anime adaptation. The writing of it was still as bad as I remember it being when I was reading the manga as it was releasing, but all of the fights were enjoyable, music was great, I enjoyed the extra scenes that were added to let some of the characters that were shafted in the manga. Overall a very fun watch that triggered a lot of nostalgia.
