Name drop for this episode is the 2m giant, Yudai (Big Hero/Alpha) Hyakuzawa (100 Stream). The first name is actually fairly common but the last name isn't heard of so I think they put in the 100 character to signify how large he is.

I love the fire hyakuzawa has at the end of the game contrast to bis bored look at the beginning - he changed his view on volley ball :D

2 meters tall is absolutely insane for high school. That's 6 feet 7 inches for non metric people. Plus his arms look pretty long. When that dude jumps he's hitting way above anything that could be described as ordinary. Dudes a GIANT. The advantage that would give in a high school volleyball game is literally insane. That said, experience kinda seems to rule in volleyball. It can obviously be overcome by feaks like Hinata...but for the most part, the best players in the show are the ones that have been playing the longest. I generally dislike when parents force their kids into something, but the value of starting young can't be overstated. Flexie, I'm sure you get this from your dance backround, where incredibly talented people show up late to the game, and despite their potential and talent, get overshadowed by the people that have been doing it forever. The muscle memory of doing the fundamentals countless times is incredible, you still need talent and skill, but years of experience and hard work can make up for an awful lot. Passion is also important, anyone who loves doing whatever they're doing is gonna give it more than someone who just keeps showing up.
