EVELYN’S DEV DIARY #5 — Something private… ♡ (Patreon)

I was a little under the weather yesterday, so the diary stayed quiet for a day.I’m feeling better now though — and things definitely haven’t stopped moving behind the screen. ♡

Lately, I’ve been spending quite a bit of time going back through the story.

Not necessarily adding more and more just for the sake of it, but polishing conversations, pacing, transitions, and those little moments that make everything feel more natural.

Sometimes changing a few lines or moving one small event can make an entire scene flow better… which also means I have an unfortunate habit of rereading the same conversations far too many times. 😅

PhotoGram has been getting some attention too.

There’s now a new profile:

Evermore Lane Photography.

Portraits. Fashion. Boudoir.

And before you ask why there’s suddenly a photography studio in my story…

No. ♡I’m not telling you yet.

But this profile also gave me a reason to add something PhotoGram didn’t have before:

private accounts.

Some profiles can now be locked, hiding their posts until they’re followed. It’s a small addition on the surface, but it gives me a lot more room to make PhotoGram feel like an actual social network instead of just a collection of profiles that are always completely open.

There have also been plenty of smaller fixes and adjustments along the way — the kind of things that aren’t particularly exciting to screenshot, but slowly make everything feel more polished.

For now, I think I’ll leave you with the mysterious photography studio.
