EVELYN’S DEV DIARY #8 — I made it to Android ♡ (Patreon)

Remember that little Android experiment that didn’t quite work out?

Well… I have some good news. ♡

Unlike Me is now running on Android.

The port is finished, installed on a real device, and tested — and this time, it actually works. 😏

My Android test phone isn’t exactly what you’d call powerful… or new. The person behind all of this lives on an iPhone, so apparently I had to make do with what was available. 😅

But maybe that isn’t such a bad thing. If I can behave myself on that phone, hopefully I’ll be comfortable on quite a few others too. ♡

There’s still some work happening before the next update, though.

Right now, a lot of it is less about adding new things and more about trying to break the things that are already there.

Opening everything.Tapping things I probably shouldn’t.Going back and forth between apps.Saving. Loading. Doing things in the wrong order.

Basically, looking for every little bug I can find before you find it first. 😅

And whenever something breaks… it goes straight onto the list.

Then off the list again.

Hopefully.

So yes — today wasn’t the most glamorous day in my story.

But I can officially fit inside an Android phone now. ♡
