I'm spending one night in Miami on my way back to Australia, and I couldn't resist popping into a Barnes & Noble to see my book sitting on the shelf. If anyone happens to visit the B&N in Coral Gables in Miami, I signed the five copies in their New and Noteworthy section.

I’m happy B&N is one of the last remaining bookstore giants still pushing ink & paper copies of incredible stories like yours Shirt! If you haven’t visited yet, I would recommend visiting Calle Ocho aka 8th Street or Wynwood. You are dressed like a local and they will receive you with open arms brother! Safe trip back home!!

It would’ve been so fitting if someone tried to stop him and accused him of vandalizing not purchased books…then explaining you were trying to do a fun good deed on the DL as the author and trying to prove identity before too many people saw the scene and ruined the surprise. It would’ve truly embodied a Jason moment. But irl embarrassment might not be worth it. Glad it worked out. So jealous of whoever got it.

That’s the weakness of web novels but when published in print it can be corrected through editing! I remember an authors quote “I’m a horrible writer but a great editor”.🙂
