Patreon billing pause (Patreon)

G'day all,

TLDR:

• Patreon billing pause ends 2nd of September.

• I will be leaving the billing unpaused for a day or two, to give people time to change up membership.

• After that day, I will pause billing for another month.

• Chapters will continue to be released during September, even with the billing paused.

It finally seems possible to pause billing without massive technical issues for a large portion of people. As such, I will be moving forward with the plan to pause billing again for September.

The one issue that I've been seeing is that people want to resume membership or alter their tier, which can't be done while paused. As such, once the current pause ends on September 2nd (I believe US time), I will not pause it again immediately. That way, people can change up their membership before the next pause. I'll give it a day or so before pausing once again.

As a quick reminder of how billing pauses work: however you long have left when the pause starts will still be how long you have left when it ends. During the pause, you will have full access to content for your tier, but you will be unable to change your membership.
