I've just added some new tiers, and I want to be clear on one point: there is no extra content gated behind these tiers. Silver rank continues to be the final extra content point; the higher tiers are for people who want to further support the story.

I will, from time to time, be inviting input of future story points. For example, I might make the power set of some upcoming characters open to input from high-tier patrons. This begins today, with a poll going up for Gold+ patrons. Of which there are none, as of writing this, so I'm not anticipating a deluge of feedback.

this makes me want to get gold just so I can control this one poll as the only person in the tier

You and all the rest of us 🤣

This isn't a chapter :(

Chapter day is tomorrow isn't it?

Addanc

Yes it is, but I was hoping when I saw the patreon notification

Just throwing it out there (in case you haven't heard about it), but Patreon apparently lost/is losing a court case that may cause problems for them. You might want to consider having subscribestar as a backup plan. I just mention this because I don't want to miss any potential future chapters due to this possible problem. :)

What was the case about?

PJ LeBlanc

It’s a few million dollars and a likely revision of censorship policies for Patreon for tortious interference. Doubt it would cause a problem for non-ideological creators.

Tech-Tac-Know

A COUPLE MILLION FOR 72 BACKERS. someone like shirt with 1500+ backers would be a nightmare at potentially $150M, or someone like Carl Benjamin with that many or more that was removed for political reasons. this could get ugly for patreon, especially once some of the other creators may take action now that this has fallen in favor of the subscribers

As it stands, I'm not looking to make a change without a compelling reason.

I HOPE nothing else happens, but as I mentioned at the beginning, I just wish for those authors I support to have SubscribeStar (or whatever) as a backup plan. There just isn't an easy way to know what is actually going to happen as a result of this case.
