Problems accessing chapters. (Patreon)

Anyone having problems accessing chapters, please contact Patreon support. I've reached out to them and they gave me the super-helpful response of "for us to confirm that it's an issue on our end, we need to confirm it."

They suggested that anyone with this issue reach out so they can troubleshoot the issue and hopefully stop this from happening to anyone else. Well, they said troubleshoot. The 'hope this stops being an issue' part was me.

When you started adding chapters again, it said my payment was still processing from when it was suspended in December and as a result I couldn't view the chapters or renew or update my payment. In the end I cancelled and resubbed and everything worked nicely then.

Yeah, I can't see all the back logged chapters yet. (This is a joke, I can see the ones that have been released so far, I'm just being a brat.)

Had to cancel my membership and then re-pledge, and that fixed it.

Yeah patreon is a bit buggy atm. I receive the emailed chapters hours later than they are posted, or some creators backlogs are all missing. Luckily everything seems to be working ok for me at the moment but we’ll see how it pans out

Hi, I had problems of not getting the emails from Patreon related to posted content, but it appears Patreon really is working on it because I got Wednesday Chapter yesterday. I got an email late from a creator that posted yesterday as well, so they seem to be catching up and fixing the issue.

Pareon help is useless. It took 5 screenshots and 8 emails for them to even pretend there was a problem on their end. When I cancelled to resubscribe, i gave the reason being their crappy support and useless people. Hope you get someone better if you have an issue. This is just a warning plus a reminder if they look at any post.

I've been able to read the chapters since I've looked for them, but my notifications have been broken since the mistaken chapter publish. Yesterday I got a notification for Wednesday's chapter and I was all excited until I remembered the schedule change lol.

Unfortunately. The break was long enough during a busy season to kind of forget. These few chapters immediately retriggered the addiction into full gear. Keep getting giddy whenever Shirt posts anything.

I reached out to patreon support and had zero response. ended up having to unsubscribe and subscribe and pay again. ended up getting charged full for 2 days of content in november.

Same here. Cancel and resubscribe. I chose that option rather than waiting for days for customer support to respond. I wanted to read chapters, not correspond with support. I had a notice on the payment screen that the payment was processing and I couldn’t make any changes, but that was for several days. I thought it was because I changed the credit card I used for ApplePay and their system got stuck in a loop.

It probably is just a bug in Patreon's code caused by a particular circumstance with date/year thing would be my guess, from a coding perspective it should be easy to test and duplicate if it is. It would be easier in most cases to cancel and repurchase the subscription. I don't know if this process has any ramifications for Shirt though.

I wonder if it relates to the 5 posts -> 3 posts per week change? I resubscribed at bronze on the weekend and got access through chapter 727 but then today 728 didn’t unlock (and it was posted just 1 day later last November). Guess I’ll try support…

Bronze rank is current 12 chapters ahead of the free releases, which means 727 as of posting this comment. The first chapter unlock for the week will be 728 for Bronze, and will be in less than one-and-a-half hours.

I had this happen to two of my memberships when both authors took a break; I ended up cancelling my membership and renewing it in order to get it to work; patreon ignored my email
