Weekly report 205 (Patreon)

Hi everybody.

I hope you've had a good week and are looking forward to enjoying your weekend.

We're done with the main content of the update (not counting two tasks that I'm going to leave for the very end: coding in the avatars and adding some of the cutscenes that I know I will have to redo to the crystal ball). I finished the audio tasks and added the remainder of Chestnut's finished artworks from earlier in the development to the game, replacing my placeholders. Since yesterday, I have been playing through the game with a Google sheet open and writing down everything that I think doesn't work or needs improvement. Chestnut, too, has been testing the game and taking notes independently, in addition to editing her artwork (she's now on the second half of Gomira's first quest).

By the beginning of the next week, we should have a somewhat better idea of parts of the update that need more polish. And then, I will begin my edit work (probably first debugging a few issues I found a while back but didn't want to focus on while I was posing), as Chestnut continues hers. It's exciting to reach this final stage, and although I'm not done yet, I already feel much better to be honest knowing that this challenging update will be over in a few months.
