Chandler Morrison

Common misconception about Mako recording the lines in the hospital. As cool of a story as that would have been, it has not ever been confirmed to be true. He finished recording the whole season, but passed away a few weeks before this episode aired in 2006.

correct. but in book 3 3 is makos friend or brother voicing iroh

Leaves From the Vine...

Kevin Zhang

Eh wouldve been better to include 17 with this and do 18-20 with the next one

Deadpool

Maybe friends or know of each other at the very least but not brothers they both just have a very identical voice

Kevin Zhang

Do you notice that it's the new voice actor voicing him during the soccer game?

Chandler Morrison

Yep. That is (I think) the only line in the season that Greg Baldwin does for iroh. But the fact that most first time viewers don’t notice means he does a pretty decent job at a Mako impression.

My understanding of Toph is that her toughnesses stems primarily from her home life. Growing up very sheltered made her see vulnerability and relying on others as weakness. She rarely had to deal with situations like that either.

I mean it might be an impression but that kind of thing were some people just have a similar voice or performance, like the comparison videos you can hear some difference but other than that they practically have the same voice

Steven Tarsitano

i've been going through a bunch lately but your videos always have such a wholesome feeling that helps me relax.

Chad Valencia

After these 3 episodes anyone should be properly invested in the show. Whenever I rewatch, it's usually the backend of book 2 and all of book 3.

I love this ATLA reactions Love seeing your guys reaction to my childhood and can wait for more

Conor Croke

Another small fact about the tribute to Mako: The picture of Iroh's son is based off of a picture of Mako himself from when he was younger, so Iroh is technically also paying respect to his own VA

Steven Tarsitano

can't wait to see the next set of reactions!
