Head canon all the late 1990s and 2000s marvel films are all set in the same universe so I like to think Wesley Snipes Blade is running around hunting Vampires while Tobey Maguire is swinging around New York as Spider-Man with Thomas Jane's Punisher patrolling the streets punishing sinners while Ben Affleck's Daredevil argues with his methods. Maybe throw in the Fantastic Four as well along with the Hulk and the Fox X-Men films and that's a pretty solid rendition of these characters even if the Daredevil movie was pretty meh.

Watching this movie, I’m reminded that Darryl has a$$hole energy. It’s like his run on the Walking Dead is reassurance that he’s not an a-hole. I don’t know what it is. Like is it the hair or what? I remember the first season of TWD, we weren’t sure which way he was leaning. Now after 11 years of playing the good guy and a leader, can he play a jerk anymore? Or does it matter since his kind of jerk was random guy number two?
