The full moon is a beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect and consciously release the things we no longer want to carry with us into the next chapter.

Tonight, rather than focusing only on what feels "negative", I invite you to think about anything that no longer serves you.

So here I’d like to share my own personal full moon ceremony with you, for you to follow along in your own space. So, if you have a quiet space, a journal, a candle and a cup of cacao or hot cocoa, let's take some time together. 🌕🤍

🕯️ 1. Arrive

Begin by finding somewhere calm where you won't be disturbed. I like to set up a small altar, with candles, incense and anything that you feel brings positive energy to your space (I have a picture of my Grandad).

Light a candle, take a few slow breaths and allow yourself to arrive fully in the present moment.

You could begin with a few minutes of gentle yoga or simply sit quietly with your eyes closed.

Take a moment to notice:

How am I feeling right now?

What am I carrying with me?

What feels ready to be released?

There is nothing you need to force. Just listen.

📝 2. Journal what you are ready to release

Take a piece of paper and begin writing down anything you feel ready to let go of.

Perhaps you're ready to release:

an old version of yourself

a fear that you've been carrying

a bad habit or indulgence

the need to control an outcome

energy that simply isn't yours to carry anymore

You can write as much or as little as you need.

There is no right answer. Let the words come without judging them.

And when you're ready, take one final look at your paper and acknowledge everything you've written.

Thank it for whatever it has taught you, and give yourself permission to let it go.

🔥 3. Release

When you feel ready, safely burn the piece of paper.

As the paper turns to ash, imagine the energy attached to those words leaving you too.

You are not erasing your experiences.

You are not pretending they didn't happen.

You are simply choosing not to carry the same energy forward.

As the smoke rises, imagine physically releasing what you have written into the Earth's atmosphere — allowing it to move beyond you and become part of something larger.

Take a deep breath.

And as you exhale, imagine making a little more space within yourself.

I release what no longer serves me. I make space for what is meant for me now.

🍫 4. Come back to the heart

Once you've released, make yourself a warm cup of cacao.

Hold the cup in your hands for a moment before drinking it, feeling its warmth.

Let this be the transition between release and renewal.

As you drink your cacao, bring your attention towards gratitude.

Ask yourself: What am I grateful for right now?

Your body

A person

Your home

Simply being here

Allow yourself to really feel that gratitude rather than just naming it.🤎

🌱 5. Welcome in the new lunar cycle

Now, with the space you've created, ask yourself: What do I want to welcome into this new cycle?

Rather than making a list of things you think you should achieve, think about how you want to feel.

Perhaps you want to welcome:

✨ more softness ✨ playfulness ✨ creativity ✨ abundance ✨ love ✨ connection

Set your intention, mentally attach it to your cup of cacao and take a sip as you ingest your new welcoming energies.

🌕 A final reflection

Before you finish, place your hands over your heart and take three slow breaths.

Think about the journey:

What did I release?

What am I grateful for?

What am I welcoming in?

We are allowed to change, release and begin again as many times as we need to.

Happy Full Moon, beautiful souls. 🌕🤍

I'd love for you to share below how you found this ceremony and what you are grateful for in this moment.

This is a space for us to reflect together, support one another and celebrate the beautiful process of becoming.

With love,

Emma x
