New YouTube Live Now (Patreon)
Content
Usually with new content, Patreon is going to get it first and then Youtube, but this case was a little unique. 6 years ago I decided I wanted to start a YouTube presence and really go for it, with content different from my Twitch channel but aligned - sewing tutorials, enabling everyone who wants to sew to take a chance at doing it. I did pretty well until the Pandemic. And separation, divorce, back to a desk job after 8 years at home with the kiddos, a new relationship, moving for the second time in 2 years, buying a house, starting over, etc
It was a lot lol
I've had a hard time getting back to posting regularly for all of those reasons and more, and it was all I could do to keep my head above water for a while there. But I'm slowly digging out, thanks to all of the work I'm putting in on myself, and the support of my husband, friends, family. L
ast night I posted a tutorial for making that wristband keychain I talked about before. I said I'd do it, and I did it. It was hard to not put it off, my brain has worms but I told them that perfect is the enemy of good. And it's good. Great? Probably not :P But it does the job it's supposed to, and it helped me re-cut my teeth on content in that space. Hopefully it won't be the last for a while, but the first. I'm working on a lot of things but this is one I'm proud of this week, and I wanted to share not only that it was done, but the behind the scenes of why it was important to get it done on the timeline I originally set and posted about. The desire has always been there; just need to get the motivation back to match <3
Thanks for being with me on this journey! Love and Cookies,
Misty
