I’ll not forgetting about you ♥️

I’m writing you from Vienna, while Ye Banished Privateers are hitting the stage!

This tour is going very well 🤩 Far beyond our expectations! Some venues are selling out, several are over 75% full, we are sooo happy and amazed to get these numbers while so many your and shows are being cancelled… We feel so lucky ☀️🍀

I’ve already met several of you on the previous shows, I want to thank you again for coming over! 🙏🏻

It’s a completely different feeling and reality to tour this way as a headline act. It’s such a wonderful feeling to see that we gather our Sailors every night! We do our best to deliver a great show every night. We invested in props and lights and improved our musicianship! But at the same time, it feels more like a fun party as so many people know our songs, sing along and wear our shirts! We’re not here to convert people like on the big Dragonforce tour, we’re here to enjoy our music all together and this is so satisfying! So uplifting and heartwarming 🤩♥️🙏🏻

At the same time, even though we’re headlining I find myself having very little free time 😅

This is a regular time schedule for the day:

• 11:00am - getting up
• 12am or 1pm - load in (getting all the gear from trailer to venue, it’s a lot of stuff, the whole tour party contributes)
• Breakfast / Snack at the venue
• 2:30 or 3pm: soundcheck
• 4pm: getting ready for the VIP / Meet&Greet
• 5pm: VIP / Meet&Greet
• 6pm: dinner
• 8:00 getting ready for the show
• Around 9:30 or 10pm show until around 10:45 or 11:15
• Shower / packing / after show snack
• 1:00am leaving venue
• 2:00am - bed time (it’s very hard to go to bed earlier with the show adrenaline 😂)

I’m learning to handle my other duties which are not related to the tour around this schedule. And believe me I just wish I had the tour and Patreon to bear in mind😄! I brought my watercolor kit and for now I haven’t been able to touch it at all, whereas in the us, I loved to paint after our show or peacefully during the day as our soundcheck was quite late!

And at the same time we’re quite busy with VOA, writing new songs and working on demos on our days off!😻🔥 That selfie with the blue notebook is me writing lyrics in Budapest! We wanna keep being musically creative and we plan on deliver a new record mid 2024, but this isn’t completely fixed yet 🤫

Aaaaaaaaannnd we’re working on a secret project too…🔥As soon as I can I will let you know what it’s about! We’re very excited 🤩

I also have great news for my hearties from North America, we are coming back as a headline act in February / March 2023! 🇺🇸🇨🇦😻

We are finalizing the routing and it will be announced soon!

So yes, there’s a lot going on, we are growing our crew and our team, reorganizing ourselves in order to be able to deliver better songs and better shows in the future!

I’m thinking of changing my approach to my job in Lyon, as I’m a promoter, organizing concerts there since 15 years. But I think I start to want to focus really on the artist side of my life and I have to see how I can make this transition without just shutting my company down… we bring value to Lyon and I don’t want this to disappear. Moving to Italy already helped me put my personal project on track with Meek and I can’t wait to share new songs with you!

And I’m thinking of creating more content for you guys but I would like you to help me with this. I want to give you content you’re interested in! Let me know in the comment what you’d like to see more of and what kind of interaction you’d be looking for! 🤩
