Yeah Mako was his voice actor. He had throat cancer. Now he actually did finish his voice lines for Book 2. So he's still here for the rest. But they had to get another voice actor in Book 3. Greg Baldwin is fantastic as Iroh though, so they did a good job. But yeah Irohs whole story was hella sad. He's so kind and content and wants to help people, and he couldn't help his son. The one he couldn't save.
