Curious to see what everyone thinks about how to proceed. Do we wait until we finish Book 3 before continuing, watch before Book 3, or watch both at the same time?

This live action wasn’t it for me. Such a shame! Book 3 still exists anyway !

I dont get why everybody says finish book 3 first. The live action is objectively worse so it would be better to end with the original. And live action covers everything they already saw so there are almost no spoilers (there is one little thing but it isnt even important for the story). I would say finish live action first so so can close the Avatar chapter with the real good stuff (for now).

The reason I say finish the live action first is so that you would appreciate the greatness of book 3 even more. That's just my two cents tho 💧🌏🔥💨

Even though the live action only covers book 1, you should still finish book 3 of the cartoon just cause it's great 😃

Also may I suggest watching the movie before the live action. That was you can see how much they messed up the movie 🤣 then the live action to see how much better it is than the movie. But how both doesn't stand up to the original

I also hope you guys will watch Legend of Korra after you finish ATLA. It’s not as good but still great. People just hate it because it’s not about Aang.

I don't think live action first would be a problem for watching book 3 after. Either way is fine though. I did enjoy most of the live action but I do like all sorts of things that the internet would probably tell me I shouldn't. y'all know how it is.

The actual objective and honest answer is....you finishing the OG will just taint your experience with the live-action more. However, it comes down to release schedule, if we are staying one per week....I think me and most ATLA fans don't want to wait for the live-action to finish to see book 3. I rather you watch and release all of book 3 before we waste time on the live-action again. However, if you watch the live-action, but don't edit and release until much later...we are fine with that.

Finish the live action first because you've already started it. NONE of season 3 is in the live action so it's not going to contribute to ANYTHING if you watch it first.

I'd also add to pace yourselves. Book 3 is not to be rushed/binged. You must savor every moment 🥲
