Yoooo excited yall are watching this and I had no idea about the extended either! Gonna have to go buy the blu-ray

Also Bly Manor is a spin off kinda. People call this the mike Flanagan universe he just directed multiple spooky series for Netflix so you’ve got Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and last Year, the fall of the house of usher, plus the midnight club. He also is the director for Hush which is an amazing horror movie if you haven’t seen it

Nicole

Fall of the House of Usher was my absolute favorite out of all the horror series he directed! But Bly Manor and Midnight Mass are also good series to watch too.

Mike Flanagan is the master of great, character driven horror. This, Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, Fall of the House of Usher are all phenomenal miniseries that he wrote and directed. His films are also great, Oculus, Hush, Ouija 2, Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep are all excellent. He’s up there with James Wan in my opinion as a modern day horror master.

Omg!!! I am so stoked two of my favorite reactors are watching this, it’s so good. Mike Flanagan is phenomenal at what he does

Chrissy

Also by Mike Flanagan, midnight Mass is really good but The Fall of The House of Usher is exceptional, loosely based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe. Carla Gugino who plays the mom is this, is phenomenal in house of usher. Also the younger dad is Elliott from the movie E.T

Jim

this will be fun for us. it's a perfect show though

Even though I've seen this show already, I'm definitely going to watch these reactions because this show truly freaked me out when it first came out. Could only watch during the day time🤣

You are in for a hell of a ride. Few people can scare you and rip your heart out of your chest like Mike Flanagan. If you find you've enjoyed this enough to dip into Bly Manor, I'd very much recommend his other series'; Midnight Mass, Fall of the House of Usher and The Midnight Club. Some of the best TV I've seen over the last few years.

Midnight mass and fall of the house of usher are also made by the same guy, and both shows are absolutely exceptional. Midnight mass holds a special place in my heart because it’s religious horror at its best, and done in the most respectful way for other faiths involved.
