Nate

It’s like in the Kenobi show when he’s facing Kenobi he says “You didn’t kill Anakin Skywalker…. I did”

I also think Palpatine was responsible for Anakin's mother's death. It would be easy for him to pay off those Tuskens to abduct her and torture her while also implanting those nightmares of her being tortured in Anakin's head to push him to return home just to witness her death. He did the same with Padme. Implanted not only the idea of her dying but also how the Dark Side can prevent the death of loved ones. Then he implanted some more nightmares of Padme dying as well. Whether he literally "implanted" those nightmares with the Force or just triggered them in Anakin naturally through sheer suggestion, either way, Palpatine is truly an evil genius.

Composite Creativity

There’s literally no proof he did either of those things in the movies, but okay.

"I also 'think'..." was my first 3 words man. Just an opinion. Also I did clearly state that if Palpatine caused Anakin to go down that path, he may not have actually done it literally but figuratively. Maybe he didn't literally "implant those nightmares" in Anakin's head but he definitely emotionally manipulated him at every opportunity.
